hey ladies we have another thread going here http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/f...rder-Hello-%29 i wonder if we could somehow combine the two?

i have two boys (one dx classic autism with SPD and mixed receptive/expressive language disorder. and one just with autism and SPD)

    both seekers and avoiders.

ds#1 ; everything is too loud, everything is too bright, seeks movement (rocks/jumps/bounces when he walks) seeks oral stimulation (nibbles/licks/sucks on fingers) has food aversions, only wants to eat white food, avoids meat or anything that needs to be chewed more than a few times.. constantly tries to touch peoples hair (although he wont touch his own, he usually just has a big clump on my hair in his hand or a barbie head in his pocket so he can play with its hair..

ds#2, so far he seems to need something in his mouth at all times, seeks textures in his mouth (licking tennis balls, shoes (eww) relies heavily on pacifer) constantly asks for shoes to be put on and off but gets insanely aggitated and distressed over the whole thing.. prefers white food/begs for dairy and water constantly.

currently doing speech for both, OT for ds#1 and we are on a waiting list for d#2

    its a crazy ride.
