Thanks Lindylou78 for putting me on the roll call. So I triggered last night at midnight, I was worried that this needle would hurt but it was fine, but I found it hard to go back to sleep (I think I am more nervous/excited about EPU tomorrow than I thought). Luckily I had a different nurse on Friday and I told her about the Syneral being low so she just gave me another bottle just in case.I hope everyone is having a nice weekend. My partner has just put our two year old down for a sleep and I am planning on having a nice long nap too.

TTHC- Did you end up doing the POAS yesterday? Good luck with BT results today

Loulabelle- You're welcome . Hope your EPU went well! Fingers crossed for a great fert rate

Traveler- my FN (at my old clinic) also said that HCG <5 was a negative result and did not mean there had been an attempt to implant. Any ideas when you'll have another go?

Kelbelle- bummer you have to wait til your FS gets back from hols. But maybe it will be worth it if he comes back armed with all kinds of new info from the conference!

PinkB and Lola- hope you're having fun on

Nat- any sign of AF yet?

EO- look forward to hearing about your holiday!

    Hi to everyone else

AFM- first US this morning showed 22 follies !! OMG I'm freaking out . My last cycle I only had 9 follies, so this is a HUGE change. Now I'm worried about OHSS and having poorer quality eggs... hopefully will get some reassurance from the FN when she calls with my next instructions. Funny thing is though, I've had hardly any twinges and was actually getting concerned I wasn't responding.

Hey lindylou-YAAy for the number of follies! Why is it that we're always stressing... too little? too big? too many? not enough? It just goes on and on doesn't it... Like I say, the second you TTC your life changes, you have one worry after another, and it NEVER ends!! Starting from falling pregnant, then when you are a mother! Our lives will never be the same!!!! hehe When do you plan on hearing from your FN?

I did POAS yesterday and it was BFN , a very very very faint second line came up; but I think it was just outside the 10 min mark, so I straight away knew it would have been an evap line. Felt a bit down yest, but as DH put it, we were so lucky last time to have DS on our first attempt, and we really have to be ever so thankful!! And I couldn't agree more!

Anyways had BT today, and I fell in the grey area, with very low HCG (so the ever so light HPT might have been the very low HCG showing up?? No idea!!). FN said they want it to be between 10-100 at 10dpt, and my HCG is at 14. I don't think it's looking so good, looks like it's going to be a chem preg. I have another BT in 2 days, but not really holding up any hope. I have heard of people with low HCG go on to have healthy pregnancies.. but that low!? Doubt it.... I was already set for the BFN, so I don't feel that down today, yesterday was my sad day!! Good news though, I would be able to start another FET right away!

As for now... just have to wait for my next BT... waiting... waiting... waiting...

Lindylou - go you on the follie count!!! I've enver made that many so wow!!!! Hope everything goes smoothyl and you end up with some lovely embies!!! Can I ask a personal question? I'm on the BH website, as opposed to the app, so I can see everyone's signature for once. I can see you have Hashimotos. Can you tell me if it's a factor in your fertility? My little sis has it and I already told her to get an AMH test as mine is low, but just want to make sure she has the full picture. She's not ready for babies but I'd hate her to find she's left it too late. PM me if you prefer or if it's too personal, that's fine too!

tthc - so how may DPO are you? I know you said 10DPT but I can't recall what day your EPU was. I did a HPT at 14DPO and it came up negative and then at 16DPO had my BT which was positive at 129. Remember rates double every 48 hours so I guess there's still a chance. I hope your next BT clarifies either way

Lindylou - Don't stress, that's a great count. When I did my fresh cycle I had over 50 follies at my first scan. And by the last scan, I had 48 over 18mm! I ended up with 23 eggs, and 19 fertilised. I transferred 1, and they froze 10! So you can still get great quality when you have large numbers.

TTHC - Argh! Damn those chem pregs!! I've had one before too... I hope there is a miracle and your levels start rising properly! Maybe it's just a late implanter...

AFM - I've got 2 more Provera tablets to take. Last one on Wed morning so hope AF shows by early next week. We've been sick here, I've had the flu since last week and my DD now has swollen glands and the beginning if an ear infection (again!!) Then about to leave this arvo to take her to the Dr's, and I got bitten by a spider! Caught it and took it in to show the dr but it isn't on the venomous list. So just got to keep an eye on it in case of infection. So kinda glad my AF is delayed... Otherwise I'd be absolutely freaking about my embryos!

Lola-I did a natural FET of a 5 day blast... so i assume I'd be roughly 14DPO??? My cycles are usually long (32 days), so I would ovulate quite late in my cycle. Day 1 of my cycle was 19 May, if that helps at all!? I assume I would have ovulated around the 5-6th of this month??? They only did 3 blood tests, before transfer, no scans etc...

Hi everyone just a quick one as I am on my phone (lying in bed with the yucky progesterone pessary up my bits!!!). Am a bit disappointed with EPU yesterday as they only got 6 eggs. I knew from the US on Friday they weren't going to get heaps but I was secretly wishing that they had missed some on the US. While in recovery one girl next to me got 12 the other 9!!! I had a few tears (silly I know but I am blaming the drugs). As far as the pain, it wasn't as bad as I thought just felt like bad period pain all afternoon. I think they are going to do a day 2 or 3 transfer (I would prefer longer) but this clinic wants to get the embie back in ASAP. The embryologist will call this morning to let me know what happened re fertilization and what the plan is. I just hope some little envies have been made from those 6 eggies.

Loulabelle – 6 is a great number of eggs! It is v.hard with lower numbers but at the end of the day as annoying as it is to hear it really is all about quality. I am hoping for a great fertilisation rate for you and some lovely quality embryos.

TTHC – good luck for your BT, we are keeping everything crossed for you!

Lindylou – wow 22 follicles is amazing, your ovaries are definitely wide awake! Did you get any feedback from the FN?

Kellbelle – more waiting hey – lucky we IVF-ers are soooo patient!

Nat – hope AF arrives as it should. Glad the spider wasn’t venomous – yikes!

    Lola – how ru travelling?

Hi to Starfish, traveller, quartz, EO, Felicita & everyone

AFM – trying to stay sane, 2nd BT tomorrow – nervous about that but

Pinkbutterfly I hope your BT is good tomorrow. Hi Everyone else
I just got a phone call from the scientists at the clinic. Of my 6 eggs only 4 were mature but luckily all fertilized. But they want to put one back in tomorrow which will be a day 2 transfer. Seeing as this is my first cycle and I dont have that many eggs I suppose this is the best plan. Does anyone have any hints on what I should and shouldn't do on transfer day??? I plan on treating myself to gold class and seeing the Bridesmaid movie. I haven't been doing accupunture but if this cycle is not successful than maybe I will start next cycle. Any other hints???

Loulabelle- sorry you were initially disappointed with 6 eggs, FWIW I think that's a great number! I have noticed from LOTS of lurking that high no. of eggs does not necessarily equal high no's of embies suitable for transfer and/or freezing. Its the quality that counts, so here's hoping your 4 embies continue to develop beautifully! I have heard Bridesmaids is a crack-up and laughter is apparantly very good post ET (there was an article floating around about clowns entertaining IVF patients & improving the success rates).

TTHC- oh dear, last you need at the end of a TWW is being stuck in limbo like that. Hope the levels have skyrocketed for BT tomorrow

Lola- I don't mind answering any Q's about my Hashi's. In my case, I feel it has been a huge contributing factor in my infertility. Sure all my hormones are OK, I do ovulate and our fert results from last cycle show I have good eggs- but implantation seems to be where it all falls over. Hashi's is associated with higher M/C risk and implantation failure. When the Hashi's is more advanced, the thyroid starts shutting down (raising TSH levels), and this is bad news for TTC. Since your sis has been diagnosed, I would assume she's had all the thyroid function tests? Even if her TSH is still normal, she should be given thyroxine as a preventative measure. This is what my endocrinologist prescribed for me. I've since found I have other factors (endo), so I can't say the Hashi's alone has caused my infertility... my next ET will be the first after starting thyroid meds, so we'll soon see if made my uterus more baby-friendly! Bottom line is that your sis shouldn’t panic, Hashi’s won’t stop her conceiving or carrying full-term, but she may require treatment to get her over the line. Good luck for your follow up BT!

PinkB- Hope your levels have risen as they should and your BT tomorrow brings a huge sigh of relief! My ovaries have gone nuts, my jaw is still on the ground after yesterday’s scan.

Nat- thanks for the reassurance about my follie count, I really needed to hear that! I would seriously have sh*t myself if I got bitten by a spider, would have been too busy freaking out to catch it. Well done for thinking and acting so practically and thank goodness it wasn’t a poisonous one! Hope you & your DD feel better soon.

Starf1sh- Congrats on the new job! (still lurking in your other thread ). Very happy for you and hope it turns out to be a good move.

Hi Felicita, EO, Traveler, Kelbelle, Quartz and everyone else .

AFM- When my FN called yesterday afternoon, she told me to keep on going as-is and come back for another US & BT Wed morning. I was thinking they might lower my dose, but she wasn’t concerned about the number of follies at all. I am seeing my FS this arvo, so I’ll ask about it just for 100% peace of mind.
