Quartz- I hope everything's OK, how terrifying for you . Any news on your BT yet?

Charliechops- The doggy pic in your avatar is sooo cute, looks to me that you and Quartz have similar furbabies! Good luck with your shopping, hope you come away with things for others next time!

PinkButterfly- hope you're staying sane in your TWW. How long til you have BT?

Hi to all the other Sydney girls hope you're having a great Wednesday! Only 2 days of work left after today for me... yikes! Got to get busy and knock over the 'must do before holidays' list. Damn BH... why must you tempt me away from my work??

Oh Quartz, what a horrible scare so glad that everything is ok. Rest up lovely and take care of little bean, only a week till scan now! Yay!

Charliechops, yep in my book that definately counts! Good self care, very important on this journey. Get yourself something pretty?
I am also pretty over the commercialism of Christmas. DH and I tend to buy 'experiences' as presents like a weekend away or I bought him kiteboard lessons last year. There is one person who I have to confess I have gone overboard on...and that is my adorable 2 month old nephew
How are you feeling about starting your 1st cycle? Are you doing a long down reg or antagonist cycle?

Lindylou, are you getting a decent amount of time off over Christmas?

    to all the other Sydneygals!

Quartz – wow what an awful scare, glad all OK.

Starfish – hope ur enjoying your break – do u get time off over christmas? I have wrapped all Christmas pressies but now need to prepare for family bash at our place - daunting!!! How is your xmas prep coming along?

Lindylou – My BT is next wed 22/12. Very tempted to POAS though – never done that before! I hope you have something nice planned for your break?

Lifeon hold – I hope your FS is onside with the DHEA! I read this today online about DHEA, though you might be interested http://nutritiondietnews.com/dhea-supplementation-has-new-advantage-in-treatment-of-infertility/85724/
I rattle when I walk now from all the vitamins and herbs I am taking!!! Oh and to answer your question, I had a day 2 transfer last Tuesday.

Big hello to all , hope everything is well and you all get a chance for some relaxation in the next few weeks!

AFM – plodding along in the TWW – still 6 days to go - just the normal mental tennis game between hope and being sure it hasn’t worked. Finding it hard to fit in the extra hour/day lying down with the progesterone pessaries – never been on them before! Thinking if its a BFN at least I can indulge in some Christmas cheer !!

    Hi Ladies

Starfish - I am taking 3 weeks leave, which will be awesome. I've only taken a day off here & there throughout the year and feeling in desperate need of R&R! Buying experiences is such a great idea over material things .

PinkButterfly - we are driving up to QLD to spend 9 days with my in-laws over Xmas, stopping at coffs harbour on the way down for a couple of days to stay with friends, and the rest I will be doing lots of long-overdue things around the house and of course, relaxing! 6 days to go in the TWW... time must be standing still for you . I know the 2nd half is the worst part and where the mind games well & truly set in . Probably still a bit early to POAS, if you're going to then wait til 12dpt/14dpo. Even though I know how evil they are, I find myself caving in every time!

I took work home last night to help finish off the 'priority list' of things to do. Hopefully I can pull it all together and leave things in good shape for my return. Last thing I want is to come back in Jan and feel overloaded!

Hope nobody got caught out in the torrential rain & hailstorm yesterday. I was so relieved when I got to my car after work and there were no dings!

Lindylou - sounds like a great break for you. Enjoy it all. Yes starting to go just ready to know the outcome now. Pretty sure its a negative and strangely not feeling too daunted by this (well today i say this - wait til the hormones plummet - yikes!!)

    Hi to all

    Hello everyone.

I'm in Sydney and a newbie to all this. I hope to have my first appointment in feb/mar 2011.

Don't know what to expect even though I read as much info as I can.

Wishing everyone a great xmas & new year. Look forward to getting to know you all.
