Beebeedee: ha ha yep it took me all day yesterday to get over it as well. That was my first drink in over a year and my body just wasn’t used to it, so I really struggled with the recovery. I am with Sydney IVF and they want the lining to be over 8mm prior to transfer, they then say that the progesterone support will help it grow further to assist with the implantation. I think each clinic is different about their procedures and what they will transfer and won’t as there are so many variables along the way with each individual person. If you do want a thicker lining you can ask your FS for extra meds to thicken it up, I know Viagra pessaries work really well for most ladies and there are diet factors that help as well – I eat loads of sweet potato, pumpkin, almonds and protein in my TWW to help the lining keep growing. I have everything crossed that this cycle works for your hon. Try not to stress about not having any frozen, its pretty common that women have none at all to freeze, I think its only the very very lucky ones that do.

Nat: Oh honey that is such good news about your numbers – congratulations, you must be soo happy, has your FS mentioned anything that they will do to help this one stick?

Hope all the other Sydney ladies are travelling along nicely. Starfish and Quartz are you ladies doing another cycle again soon?

AFM: Back to do another BT tomorrow to check if I am any closer to ovulating and hoping my lining is getting thicker, hoping its any day now. Not sure about anyone else but I find the FET to be stressful as well……… waiting to ovulate, hoping all hormones are doing what they are supposed to be doing, making sure the lining is thick enough, hoping the emby thaws OK!!! Ahh its not easy doing IVF..............

EO - I'm with Sydney IVF too! In Liverpool and I see Dr Timothy Chang in his Campbelltown rooms. I think they'll just do extra bloods, ant I'll see my FS more often. I'll know more this afternoon when I see him. I'm on pessaries now, which they wouldn't normally use after a fresh cycle, but it's just to keep my progesterone at a nice level. The nurse mentioned Clexane shots too. So I'll be asking him all sorts of questions this arvo. All the best for your FET. I've only ever done medicated ones cause my body is all over the place. Fingers crossed your embryo thaws perfectly!!

    Hi everyone!
Nat-so excited for you, hope this arvo's appt is good

Bee- I REALLY hope this works for you. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers over your 2ww

EO- I find natural FET's stressful too, especially after transfer when I have NO drug side effects to pin my hopes too. Hopefully yours will go smoothly and you will get heaps of pregnancy symptoms

Hi to everyone else. Just spent the morning with a friends new born baby and made me wish I could hurry up and cycle. DH doesn't even want to talk about it till we get half way through the year...just wants to keep trying naturally (men!) trying naturally breaks my heart tho cos it's a monthly reminder that we can't do it ourselves and Noone knows why.

    Enjoying the cool weather

    Hi ladies,
I have been a little MIA lately as the start of term is always hectic! I have been reading every day and keeping up on the news though!
Nat - I was at Dr Changs rooms this afternoon too! I hope your appointment went well. I am interested to hear what he offers to do so I know what to ask for when I get my next BFP!!
Sorry not too many personals - am on my phone!!

AFM - am now just waiting for AF so I can start a programmed FET. Not a nice wait seen as I have PCOS so I am never regular!!! Hopefully she will appear naturally otherwise FS has given me drugs to bring it on if it hasn't arrived by the end of Feb

    Hope you are all well

Quartz - I have PCOS too. How annoying is it!! What time were you there? My appt was at 3.15pm. So if you saw 2 people in hi vis fluoro orange work shirts, it was me and DP! Haha. Dr Chang gave me some BT request forms (for DHM) and I'll have them once a week (unless I bleed or something in the meantime). And I've gotta book an U/S for 3 weeks. I go to Tara Imaging in Campbelltown cause I love the ladies who work there! They're so nice!! So just hanging out for my next BT now.

Nat: That’s great they can monitor you more closely this time to stop it from happening. Its sucha stressful thing to go through, make sure you take care of yourself and don't push it too hard.

Quartz: Great news to hear your planned your next cycle. It helped me so much to more forward from my MC knowing that we have a plan in place. Is your FS doing anything different this cycle? I hope AF shows up soon for you so you can get straight back into it.

Traveler: Oh how lovely you got to see a little bub, I love seeing new babies, it does make me so clucky though. Totally understand about natural trying, I tried to explain that to my DH when we tried for a year with nothing happening, I seen so many negative HPT in my TTC past so now I never what to POAS after I have a transfer I always just wait for the BT. I really hope you can come on here very soon and tell us all about your natural miracle.

Beebeedee, How is your TWW going darl, hope its going quickly for you.

Pinkbutterfly, Lindylou, Starfish, and MrsDaisyP, how are all you ladies going?

Hi Sydney gals, gee first I winged last week about the heat and now today………I am gonna winge about it being cold. I slept with tracky pants on last night!

AFM: Had BT today and FS thinks I am on verge of Ovulating so back tomorrow for another BT and US to check lining, looking at Transfer next Tuesday or Wednesday hopefully. I was told today my FS will be away next week so I will be having another FS do my transfer – Grrrr not too happy about this.

    Hello Sydney gals!!

EO - I'm trying to take it easy. But it's hard when I work in a factory where no one knows I'm pregnant. I haven't been doing overtime lately so I can try and relax a little.. Yay for nearly ovulating!! Not so good about another FS... But as long as he gets it in the right spot! Will you be on hormone support after it?

Quartz - Hope AF arrives soon for you so you can get your FET done!

Traveler - It must be SO hard not knowing why you can't fall pregnant. And frustrating. I know why we have trouble, but still can't work out why I keep miscarrying... And neither do they. It drives me NUTS! I SO hope you can get a natural BFP!

Well... I'm still pregnant!! Made an appt today for my first scan, its at 2pm on Monday 28th Feb. So just under 3 weeks away. I've got another BT on this coming Monday. I'll be relieved to hear if my levels are doing what they are supposed to be doing!

25andhopeful, so sorry to hear your news Hope you are taking good care of yourself, indulging in a few things you love, and hope we see you back cycling real soon.

Lindylou, how's it going with the 'poo water'???

Nat84u, hope you are enjoying it up there on All looking good! Hope your clinic were accommodating re: extra monitoring? I have asked the same of my clinic for next time around as well as extra prog support. FS said I could have bt's every 2nd day if I really wanted. Too much do you think??

Traveler, ahh the waiting game in IVF. You'd think we'd all be pros at it by now! Hope you're not waiting too long to start (or even better wishing you a natural miracle in the meantime!)

Quartz, come on AF!!! Exciting to be starting again, good luck hun!

    Bee,

    PinkB

EO, transfer day is getting very close!!! Hope you get a fab FS on the day, bl00dy h3ll they should all know where to put it!!? But I know what you mean at my last transfer my usual FS was away, my DH was away, it was a very weird experience all in all!

Thanks for asking after me darl. I am still awaiting AF after my D&C, likely not to see her for another 4 weeks so DH and I are trying to enjoy our DINK likestyle at the moment as much as possible, so a bit of socialising, going away on weekends and having a week's holiday in March. Hopefully cycling again in April.

    Good luck to everyone else
