Quartz: Oh 5hit honey i am sorry to hear that. I was so hoping that this perfect hatching little blast was the one. It sucks so much that everything is perfect for the cycle and it doesn’t result in a BFP. I am still holding out hope for you for your BT tomorrow honey. I too have my staff Xmas party the day of my BT and not looking forward to it at all X

Nat; Thanks hon, how are you going? Did you O with the clomid this cycle? How’s the wedding plans going?

Bebe: How are your little embryos’ going? Did you get the day 3 update? Sending you lots of sticky baby dust for your transfer tomorrow and fingers crossed for a few frosties for a brother or sister for this one. How are the pessaries going? Did you get the new ones or the old waxy ones?

Lindylou: Any word from the PGD coordinator yet hon? I hope they have come back to you with some good news, having to wait until April is just ridiculous. Majority of the Genea FS are at the World Fertility conference this week in Melbourne and i seen yesterday that one of the PGD scientist from Genea gave a presentation about their technology etc and their success is unbelievable. I even said to DH that if our frosties don’t result in a baby then our next cycle will be a PGD one aswell.

Traveler: How are you going in the TWW hon?

Salty: Thanks so much for the thread bombing hon, much appreciated X Good to see, haven’t seen you since you guys made that separate FB account. Hope all is going well for you and your lil girl.

AFM: The crazies haven’t set in too much yet, although i haven’t felt a single thing and by this stage i was hoping to have had a few cramps to indicate some implantation. DH is taking this cycle pretty tough, every day he comes and hugs me and tells me how much he wants this to work and wants to have a bub. He is not normally like that and i can see how much this journey is starting to get to him,

Quartz, I'm so sorry you had such bad news from the stupid HPT I'm so sad this hasn't worked.

Clair- congrats on seeing bubs heartbeat. Must be such a relief

EO, I started crying reading about ur DH and how much he wants it to work, that is just like my DH. it makes it so much harder! When is ur BT (& chrissey party)?

Bebe- any word on your stash of embys?

Afm- going MENTAL. I just want to lock myself away and cry till it's over. My ()()'s have stopped being tender, have had only minor stabbing feelings In my tummy (which is prob just recovery from epu) don't feel sick, nothing. Today I'm 4dp a 5dt. However, in the back of my mind I know that this is how It was when I WAS pregnant with DS, and my logic is that if I were pregnant it probably wouldn't show up on a HPT yet, and if my hcg is that low then I wouldn't have any symptoms yet. Right? See, I'm clearly insane.

    Hi to all Sydney ladies

Traveler - it's so hard not to read into every little twinge (or lack thereof)...I am sure we can all sympathise with the 2WW crazies

Claire77 - great news everything is well. Love the nickname by the way!

Eternal Optimist - sending you sticky vibes...My DH seems be over the whole IVF process, and sick of our lives being on hold. Now FS has said if our FET don't work we should probably consider another fresh cycle seeing what was discovered during my surgery. My DH initially seemed so pleased at FS office, but last night really just wants it all to be over either way.

Quartz - good luck for BT tomorrow

Bebe - good luck for transfer tomorrow

Lindylou - hoping your PGD testing is available - it's horrible with everything revolving around certain dates and how much we have to change

Hi to all others...I've got plenty of reading to do - have only gone back a few pages.

AFM - I had my surgery last Tuesday to remove my tubes, and am recovering well. It's just aswell I had such a good FS/surgeon who decided to go in near my ribs (instead of near bellybutton) as it turns out his theory of my bowels being stuck to my abdomen were correct. Had they entered near my bellybutton, the bowel would have been cut/damaged with either urgent repairs needed or the possibility of ending up with a colostomy bag again. (for those who don't know, all of my large bowel was removed in 1996, had a temp. bag and was reconnected in 1997) But the most exciting part for the FS was discovering I had endometriosis which we didn't know about - so most of that was removed too - seriously improving my chances. It's about time I had some kind of answer as to why perfectly good embryos were not implanting. Not all the tubes were removed because one part was stuck in adhesions in my bowel, but they both don't work anymore, which I am surprisingly ok with so far. I thought I would terribly depressed with the thought of them gone with the chance of it happening naturally.

Sorry about long me ramble! But my surgery has been my positive thing this week! Actually my FS was so pleased yesterday when he was showing me some of the surgery on DVD...like the cat that caught the bird, so hopefully these are changes we needed.

Awhile back I posted about a book I had read, and it being about 'control the controllables'...which is a great thing for us all to remember. We can't control what is beyond our control. Look after yourself (re: alcohol, vitamins, weight etc) and let those who are responsible for our embies etc worry about them as it will make all the difference to our stress levels is we can limit what we worry about. Have a great weekend all!

EO – I am so so so happy to hear about your lovely embryo – it sounds fabulous – this bub was an expanding blast – sending super glue strength baby dust you way & keeping everything crossed - you and DH really deserve it to be your time.

Lindylou – oh no,... more waiting – just what us IVF-ers love!!!NOT!! I hope going thru the city clinic is an option for you.

Traveler – thanks for thinking of me!! So glad to read you had such a fabulous embryo transferred . I think when boobs stop being tender is a great sign – i have read it happening to alot of women and happened to me this time and with DD – with all my BFN’s they just got more and more painful. When is your BT?

Quartz – I have no experience with POAS’s and IVF so I am hoping its just too early.

Bebe – Hope all going well, quality over quantity I always say (as a low egg number girl myself). Keeping everything crossed for you. Good luck for your transfer
    .

    Nat – hope ur well

Kelle belle – glad all went well, hoping the removal of your endo will really help things. You have been through a lot

Claire – congratulations, glad to your scan went well, how lovely

AFM: still can’t really believe we are having a bub in less than 3 months now. We had a follow up scan this week and bubs kidney problem isn’t any worse which they thought it might be and no sign of kidney damage at this stage so that has been a huge relief. Will need another scan in 6 weeks to re-assess but for now enjoying feeling relieved. Bubs is growing well and all on track – it all still amazes me!

Hi to anyone I have forgotten, I think of you all often

Heya EO - My day 3 update was 5/5 still okay, but 2 lagging behind and one compacting morula. I'm using crinone that's in a long stick filled with white cream. No waxy types here. Is that new, as that's what I had in June also.

My heart sank when I read your post about DH. Sometimes or DH's get forgotten about in this process as all of the treatment is with us. I think it's so nice to know that he is as emotionally connected to wanting a baby as you are. Certainly sounds like it's been a long raod for you guys and you deserve this to work. your AA blasty is snuggling in and you'll be able to hug him back with great news in a few weeks.

Traveler - The weekend is here, hopefully that means you can lock yourself away for a bit - and you know what i think... cry if you need it. I reckon it helps release the tension that builds up. My preference, is to cry in the shower, and then say 'I'm leaving those feelings in there'. Bit soppy I know, but it helps. And yes, it's too early to show up on HPT, keep busy and try again next week. Biggest

Kellbelle - Yeahhhah, such wonderful news that FS went in the way he did and managed to find the endo. I love our FS and can't imagine seeing anyone else now. Enjoy the weekend and your continued recovery. Did he give you a date when you can think about cycling again?

    PinkuBtterfly
    – Congrats on the scan, must be a massive relief to hear the news. Do you know if you're having a boy/girl?

    to everyone else.

AFM - As I mentioned above at the day 3 update we still had 5/5, but I am prepared to hear that the 2 lagging behind will have arrested tomorrow. I really just want one to transfer tomorrow and 1 for the freezer. I gave up coffee today, I had my last one for the next few months [pending my BFP of course], and am looking forward to being PUPO so it will be worth it.
DH flies out for work on Sunday, so I am once again going to be getting my BT results on my own...eeeeeek. He will be back at Xmas, so hopefully to rub my belly and not wipe away more tears!

    Enjoy the weekend.

Quartz - Any news yet? Am thinking of you today.

AFM - I am officially PUPO! FS transferred a grade A hatching blastocyst - he gave us a 65% chance of a pregnancy. I am OVER THE MOON! this one sicks!
It's just sad that it looks like our other 4 embies won't make it. 1 already has arrested & the other 3 are just behind blasty stage.
The scientist will call us tomorrow to let me know if any made it to the freezer, but she said probably not.

Hope you all are enjoying this glorious Sydney Summers day!

Thanks. Dunno exactly, but he did say 'you couldn't ask for a more perfect embryo'...but you never know!

It'll get me through the TWW slightly easier.. BUT if it's a BFN I'll more devastated I reckon!!
