    Hello ladies.

I haven't been posting cause there's nothing exciting to say, but I've been reading along.

Af arrived on Sunday (cd 55 or so). So I'm taking Clomid and dexamethasone this cycle. Hoping I ovulate, but I doubt it cause clomid has been useless lately for me. Anyway, I'll keep trying.

    Hope everyone is ok xo

It sure is quiet in here the past few days! Not complaining though, at least I can keep up!

Paddlegirl- I hope you had a lovely reunion with your hubby and got all the hugs you needed. I travel very frequently for work, sometimes I'm gone for 2-3 weeks, and its never easy to be apart from DH.

Traveler- I hope your AF has showed up by now so you can move into stimming. Trying to keep IVF a secret is getting harder, I'll be in the TWW when we go away camping with friends in Jan and all I can think about is how will I hide my clexane bruises so they're not visible in swimwear?

Felicita- I was so excited to read your invite (thank you), then I saw the date... I'm sorry but we've got relatives from QLD in town and having lunch at my Nans that day. A shame everyone else so far has other plans too, EO is right, we need to organise a meet-up . I hope you have a lovely time with your family.

Crofty- well done on getting through the baby shower, it always a tough gig. I hope you have a blast with your sis this weekend! Great to hear your DH is so positive about your FET, I hope its going to be a sober Xmas for you 'cos you'll be UTD!
EO- yay for starting your medicated FET! Bummer about the workload though, I'd be mad about that too! Car is going great and yes, we're heading down to Jervis Bay for a long weekend at the end of Nov. Appt with Dr R went really well, I'll fill everyone in below. Definitely interested in getting us all together too

Quartz- I hope your scan went well today!

PinkB- Wow, 25 weeks! That really has flown. Have you been given any indication how bub's kidney condition will be treated when he/she is born? Glad to hear the move is over & done with and you're back online. I too don't know how I used to survive without the internet!

Nat- Great to hear from you and glad you're keeping up the non-ivf TTC. I hope the clomid gets you a second miracle! Hows the diet and wedding planning going?

Bella- Any news on your BTs yet?

Hello to everyone I've missed and the girls on BH time-outs

AFM- I saw my FS on Tues and we had a good chat. The fact that none of our embies have resulted in a pregnancy makes him think its a chromosomal issue. So we're going to do a PGD cycle (using CHG array) in Jan . The pregnancy success rate jumps up to 80% after PGD, and we'd know that there's no genetic problems with the bub up-front, so the extra cost is definitely justified . I'm just terrified of having no normal embies to transfer, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it...

My positive thing for last week.
This one's a bit late since I thought I was having trouble thinking of something, but I've just put my mind to it and I've got so many positive things. I think the biggest thing for last week was being able to help my sister who's going mega-crazy looking after her boy on her own while her DH is overseas for work.

Hi girls! How are we all? It has been quiet in here, must be the end of year rush starting

Lindy- 80% success per transfer? WOW!!! that's huge! Will you still need to get the 12 week trans nuch test done when your pregnant or will you know that it's all ok?

Felicita- you are so fantastic always finding positives. That's so kind if you to help your sister! Have you started the herb taking yet?

EO - is your cycle underway?

Hi quartz, crofty, pinkb, nat, Bella, tthc, paddle, kellyb, and everyone else

Afm- going really well. AF came, am injecting and have a bt on Wednesday. I'm getting a bit nervous because I respond really quickly, can already feel things happening. But my clinic always forgets this and goes into a panic after my first BT!! so I'm mentally preparing for their panic just makes it hard trying to plan my normal activities when I know the FN's will demand I come every day as a matter of urgency am feeling really positive tho so that's great!

    Hi girls,
Im still here I have started working and it's crazy. Missing my 9 mth old. So I finally got off the dredded pill and af will be here tomorrow. Then I ring westmead and pay for my fet. Starting progynova on 25th I think it is. Already on synarel. Looking at fet on 14th dec. I have 3 blastys hoping they thaw well as I would love 2 transferred. Trying to organize acupuncture does anyone know of any places around westmead?

Hi angelanathan, I am going to Westmead Fertility Centre as well. Early stages of our 1st IVF cycle TTC #2. Started Lucerin today - I am a little excited as I feel we are on our way now. Not sure where you are located but I started seeing a lovely acupuncturist at Norwest/Bella Vista - she also works from Windsor rooms as well. She specialises in fertility. Her name is Neda Raked and the place is called Health Dimensions. I am really impressed with her so far. Not sure if this helps you out, but thought I would put it out there.

Angela: hope AF arrives soon for you so you can get stuck into it again. Sorry can’t help with acupuncture, mine is in the city so a little too far for you to travel. I do highly recommend it though, i find it so relaxing.

Quartz: How was your lining at your scan hon? I went up to 5 estrogen pills a day yesterday and for the last few days have felt horrible. I have been taking mine all at once as well or I would forget. I have first US and BT tomorrow. Do you get any bloating or lots of CM from the Estrogen?

Traveler; How did your BT go today hon? I am the same with response to drugs, it always worries me that they forget this. Its awesome you are feeling so positive about this cycle, I think it really helps to get through this difficult journey. Do you know what day your EPU will likely be?

Felicita: How are the Sharkeys potions going?

Lindylou: Wow a PGD cycle, that’s awesome. They success rates for those cycles are amazing. You will be starting again in now time. (I sent you a separate PM)

Nat: All the best for your natural cycles hon, it would be so great if you could get UTD withut having to worry about doing an IVF cycle. Your Dr M sounds awesome.

Kelbelle: hi hon, how are you going? Have you made a decision yet about what to do with your tubes?

PinkB: Wow the time is flying by now for you, I can’t believe your lil bub will be here in 13 weeks. How is your new place going?

Paddlegirl: How are you going hon? Have you spoken to your FS about your next steps?

Crofty: Any sign of AF yet hon? Can’t wait for you to start your cycle, the FET sounds like it’s just what yur body needs instead of the stress of the stim cycles.

AFM: My work is so busy at this time of the year, on the upside, I haven’t had a chance to even think about this cycle since it started which has been nice. I’m off for my first BT and US tomorrow (CD11) to check how the medicated FET is going. The meds have knocked me around a lot. I have a really horrible feeling I have already ovulated based on a few of the physical symptoms I’ve had (this could just be the high E2 levels) so a little worried about tomorrow.

    Hi everyone,
lindylou, its been great having DH back, and yes lots of hugs.... wow, 2-3 weeks at a time for you!! how do you manage being away form your DH for that long.. heh heh, I'm a wuss!! ... its good to hear you and your FS have come up with a plan of attack with the PGD...I guess this is what a lot of IVF treatment is - working out what needs to changed or be tweaked. Good luck with that!

EO not yet, seeing FS tomorrow. Will have questions to ask him - mainly, are there reasons why I am not implanting? should we be concerned? Should we check anything else out?

traveler, how was your BT today? I hear you....Its hard trying to have a "normal life" while having a cycle.

AFM - nothing much happening. Seeing FS tomorrow and then working out what to do next. Probably have next cycle in Jan , if we get back in time. Or Feb. I booked flights for DH and I to go to see my parents in Perth for Christmas. Still worrying about Dad. Didnt factor in timing for a cycle. (perhaps I thought we'd be UTD by then = optimist!)

My positive thing - I am going to a new GP. A friend recommended her, she has an interest in preg and antenatal care. I used to go to a medical centrea that bulk bills and we were just sick of waiting (over 1 hour usually, and last time, 3 hours!!) and also the general lack of interest from the GPs there. Felt like a number. This new GP is a private practice, so its not bulk-billing but after seeing her, I felt my health is in better hands! I told her we were doing IVF, and had 2 failed cycles. She renewed our referral, and wrote a letter to FS to ask if there should be more investigations for me, and also ordered a lung function test(unrelated issue - I get viral infections easily and they are quite severe)

So my positive thing for the week is......tomorrow is friday and Monday is a fresh start
