GL TTHC and sticky - enjoy your break

Trav- cant assist sorry I've always jabbed the Lucrin rather than the synarel (as when I started this journey 12 mths ago synarel was out of stock!!!) hope it doesn't get too unbearable - nothing like a blocked nose and not being able to clear it!!!!

    Hi ladies,

Sorry work is CRAZY this week. Now back to more important things........

Claire: Al the best for your BT, sounds very positive.

Paddlegirl: oh hon so sorry to hear there is some bleeding, it’s so unnerving to see, there have been lots of women on BH that still get a BFP even with some bleeding. When is your BT? I am still holding out hope for you, i never rely on HPT. Hope you’re doing Ok with DH being overseas.

Quartz: Sounds like a great plan. Every emby is unique so it’s always good to give them a chance. Will you do a natural FET or medicated? That’s fantastic news your prog levels have risen, good on your body for cooperating. My FN says a D&C is helpful in resetting your body.

Traveller: Sorry can’t help with the sniffing hon, i use Lucrin, I have read others say they have lots of irritation and can cause nose bleeds. Is there any chance you can get your FS to swap it over to Lucrin to stop some of the irritation? I got the best results i have had in all my cycles from the long down reg cycle. When is AF due? We could be very close with our cycles :-)

Lindylou: How are your potions going hon? I have just finished my GardenTrio and waiting my 20 minutes before i eat my lunch :-) Any fun plans for the weekend?

TTHC and Sticky - enjoy your break, we will be here for you when you come back, fingers crossed all with little bubs in tow.

Felicita: So sorry to hear your little blasty wasn’t the one. I had such high hopes for the little fighter. Any news yet from your FS conference with the specialist?

Crofty: Wow yep i agree that’s strange to have a PM like that with no contact previously. Any sign of your AF yet? Did your FS say if it’s a natural or FET this time? You must be getting so excited for your Transfer with your super emby’s. All the best for the baby shower, it’s my biggest fear. So many pregnant clucky women and the inevitable questions about “when are you having kids?” stay strong in the circle of all of those fertiles.

Bella: How are you going hon? Have you had your tests done yet? Fingers crossed they can give you some answers.

AFM: I have definitely ovulated and FN thinks AF is still a few days off yet – up to a week at the most. I had a chat to her about this and how much the OHSS has screwed my cycles up and so Dr B is putting me on a medicated FET once AF arrives. Kind of excited about it as hopefully it will mean i can get a nice juicy thick lining this time as i always struggle with thin linings. I’m off to Google medicated FET and the success rates compared to Natural FET........:-)

My positive thing for the week.

Marriage, to me, meant not only a public declaration that I love my husband, but significantly also meant an intention to create a nuclear family. As a consequence, my loss of hope in IVF was (or is) particularly upsetting as it felt like infertility was attempting to undermine the very foundations of our marriage. So my positive thing is that it is clear that we are strong enough to get through this together, and it feels like our marriage is growing even stronger (which I would have said was impossible) as we do.

    Hi all,

felicita, that's great about your and DH's relationship growing stronger through this difficult journey

EO, thanks for your thoughts. unfortunately it was BFN. Its been tough with DH being away. Next time I'll plan it better. We knew it wasnt ideal, but we were expecting his best friend to come visit in Sept (that later got pushed back to Nov), so in trying to avoid Sept, Nov and Dec, that left Oct for DH to see his family. Good luck with the medicated FET - I dont know anything about it (we havent had a FET before, only fresh transfers). It's good to try something new. Fingers crossed for a nice thick lining.

quartz, good on you for jumping straight back into a new cycle. Good luck!

As for me, as I said BT this morning, BFN as I had expected.

My positive thing the past couple of days: I've had some great friends who have come over to talk, let me cry, and taken me out to distract me, cheer me up etc as they know DH is away.

Huge hugs paddlegirl I'm so sorry you have to endure a bfn while dh is away. Glad your friends are there to support you.

Felicita- that's awesome. I feel that going through ivf (though fewer rounds than you) had brought dh & I closer too

    Claire- congrats on your bfp!
