Default How old when you introduced nuts?

While it's commonly recommended to wait until 12 months to introduce nuts and products containing nuts to your bub, I thought I'd see what age people ACTUALLY tried giving them.

I cooked chicken tonight and was planning to give some to DS tomorrow but realised that I cooked the chicken in peanut oil. Soooo, now I'm wondering if I should just hold off a bit longer (DS is 10 months). We have no family history of peanut allergies...

    Thanks

My Dr recommends waiting till 2 years to try children (even with no history) on any type of nut products.

DS is only 18 months so we will try him on nuts around his 2nd b'day!
