Default Chloe - how common is it really?

    Hi all,

We're having our baby girl very soon. Chloe is really the only name DH and I both love and we keep coming back to it.

But unfort it seems that most of Aus thinks the same thing as it's in the Top 5 names of the last decade. And I wanted something less common.

So...in practice have you guys come across lots of little Chloe's? I'm in Melb

My SIL's name is Chloe and DS also has a cousin aged 7 named Chloe.

So I know two. I haven't come across a heap of Chloe's but I do love the name, I tend to think if you love a name - USE IT!!! Who cares if it's "too common" or whatever. I missed out on calling my child what was in my heart and I regret it daily.

I know of 3 born in the last 18 months!

I think it is quite common but that said, if it the only name you like then you should use it.

My DD is Mia which is also very common these days but it was the only name we could decide on so we went for it.
