    Default Pregnancy Pillows

    Hi ladies,

I was watching The Back-Up Plan the other night and the character in the movie had a long (body length) crescent-shaped pillow which she slept to support her belly.

Does anyone know what that type of pillow is called and where I might get one? I'm a side sleeper, but already finding it hard to get comfortable.

Mine was just called a body pillow. I think it cost me about $80 when I bought it in 2006 with DS. Its now on its second pregnancy (although I got rid of the stuffing after DS and just kept the cases) and is an absolute godsend.

Haha! I thought he was sooo mean!

My DF said "You're totally getting one of those pillows!"

And just off topic (but on the Back-Up Plan) wasn't the single mothers' group on there just THE most hilarious thing you've ever seen? I didn't go much on the movie overall, but the parts with those ladies in it made me

Agree, I have the Kmart one, so comfortable to support your leg, arm/shoulder and belly! Plus so much cheaper than others you can get at $80+

I have that EXACT pillow in the movie and I LOVE it!!! It's a body pillow in the shape of a J... you can get straight body pillows but I don't think they're as good. Mine was $80 from Baby Bunting. Best investment ever!

My body pillow annoyed the hell out of me!! I couldn't roll over with it!! Was comfy while I was laying on it until I had to move then I usually woke up DH to help me!!! I ended up getting a Belly Bean and LOVED it!! It was just as supportive but gave me more freedom to move!! Sounds like I was the only one to hate mine though!!!

I got a long body pillow from Pillow Talk for $20. It had a foam bit down the middle so it didn't end up going flat like my other pillows. It's lasted two pregnancies so far and still going strong.
