    Default Siblings and similar names

Hubby and I only agree on 1 name that we both like for daughter number 2. The name is Kaylee. As much as I like the name, I am concerned that it is too similar (in pronounciation) to our other daughter's name, Caitlin.
Hubby thinks they sound nothing alike other than the 'K' sound at the beginning, but I hear the similarities in the Cai/Kay and li/lee part of the names.
Is this realistic or am I being too picky?

i dont see the issue with it but there are so many beautiful names out there for girls so plenty more to choose from if you dont go with it.

I don't think they are to similar. I think Caitlin and Kaylee sound good together. Its a lovely name, its my sisters name (Kaylie) and my neices name (Kailee).

I like them, I think they work because they don't rhyme. Like if it was kaylin and caitlin that would be too weird, but I think they are different enough, though if your concerned is keep looking. If your not happy there are thousands of names to choose from, maybe get a baby book and look at c and k names if you like 'c' names and maybe find another name?

Personally, I find them too similar, so wouldn't do it.

But if you and your DH don't have an issue, then go for it
