Thanks everyone for your responses - i think i have come to the conclusion re:after pains that they are horrible after baby#2 and hope are not so tense at #3! well thats what i am thinking anyway! Anyone else is welcome to add in their experiences .....

I am currenly expecting my third.

In terms of labour, DS was 12hrs, DD was 6. So will be interesting this time around. (i am more scared because DS was 8lb 12ozs and DD was 10lb 8ozs so uhm hmm.. whats this one, a 12 pounder? )

It is easier and of course more busier, if you value "me" time. you are most likely going to have to lessen the amount of it you get.

I'm reading this post with interest as I have two children and am constantly thinking about whether to have a third. I don't yet feel complete but I don't want 4 but am scared 3 won't 'work'. I wish I had a crystal ball!!!
