    Default people with 3 children

Hello just curious how some people are going with their 3 darlings, is it easier caring for the third baby now you have the experience, routine, little helper's? Another question is did people find all their births similar eg. arriving on time, were after pains worse with each baby? Anyway hope to hear from people

All 3 of my births and labours were similar, can't say I noticed anything different really. Except I had a 3hr transition stage with my first which was total hell as transition should only be 30mins.
As for easier to look after, I'd have to say yes. But my older kids were 5 and 6 when I had my third, so they didn't really need to be looked after as much. They did help out a little when he was younger, now that he is older, they have more to do with him.

    HTH....good luck with TTC.

thanks- that has helped - well my first two pregnancies were both two weeks overdue and was induced both times which frustrated me and secondly after birth of number two i had terrible after pains and was told by my aunt that they get worse with each pregnancy so thats why i was curious.anyone esle with similar experiences?

Afterpains....I forgot about those, lol. I had none with my first and horrible ones with my second. They weren't as bad with my 3rd (from what I can remember). I'll have to let you know how they are after my 4th.

Angel_kisses9798 we are due the exact same day and we are also on number 4!!!!.

My labours go quicker with each child from 6hrs to 4 hrs to 1 and a half hrs so i better be on my toes with the next one.

My other kids were great helpers with the new baby and i found it more special because i got to share that with them and create thoes memorys with them. It gets easier with each one and im more relaxed with them because you know you have done it before and you know you can do it!.

I have 3 children, ages 4, 2 and 4 months. With regards to labours, they were 21 hours (totally horrible!! and ending up with forcepd delivery), 1.5 hrs - very fast, fantastic! and 3.5 hours - a little longer than the 2nd time and much more intense for some reason, but no stitches and very speedy recovery.

My 1st was 3 days late, 2nd 4 days early and 3rd 10 days early, so I think often all labours are different and it's hard to predict how they will be, although if it's any help, my obstetrician did say that labours usually get easier up until No 4 and then get harder/longer again as the uterus gets tired with No 5 +.

I actually found it pretty easy going home with my 3rd. You definitely are more relaxed and confident. My other 2 were surprisingly good - I was expecting jealousy issues! I think for me it was more of a shock going from 1 to 2 than 2 to 3. By no 3 you are already so into the swing of caring for kids and all the routines that go with it that one more doesn't make much difference. It is busy though!

    Good luck
