Apparently Larissa was nearly my name, but my mother was concerned it would only suit a little girl not an adult, even though she thought Lara would be a suitable abbreviation for an adult. Upon discovering this mid primary school, I wished my name had been Larissa instead. Prior to that I was wanting Tina as my middle name is Christina.
