    Default Just curious

My cousins ds is 12 months old and he will sit unsupported but only if you sit him up, he stills falls over sometimes though. He doesn't get on hands and knees, barely rolls over, will not bare weight on his legs etc so basicaly lies on his back or just sits there all day. I know all babies are different but would you be worried?

    Yes I would be worried.

yup - i would be worried if my child at 12 months was experiencing those kind of things... please advise your cousin to get her son checked out so that IF he does need help, he can get it sooner rather than later to help him get a better start.

Definitely worried. I know all kids develop differently, but not even being able to sit at 12 months is showing that there could be a problem. At 12 months, my DS was cruising the furniture and wanting to walk.

Are the parents concerned? It would be hard, but if they are in denial, I would be trying to talk to them about it. If there is a problem, the sooner it's treated, the better off the child will be.

yes, I would be very worried. All babies develop at different rates, but there definitely sounds like there's something wrong there.

I would be worried yes. Hopefully his parents will take him to the doctor for an evaluation.
