Since the mods feel (and I do understand) that this thread should remain open in the interests of free speech, I just wanted to ask people to please be careful when responding to posts like this one. When you pm them to ask about a doctor be especially vigilant about what information you give out. And please consult a medical professional (or other parents you know and trust) for advice before you take your children to a doctor recommended by someone on the net.

    take care all

    Default Circumcision

I want to say thnk you to can I, she has brought up some very important points. Take note that I have located posts on forums and the Dr's that I would suggest have been praised by parents and I would not intentionally include any that have had a bad report. If you need a reference for a Dr let me know I will then request a parent/s to contact you.

I think this is a very, very important thing to remember. Anyone can recommend a doctor and have other parents contact you who may/may not have actually used the doctor. If you want contact people who have used the doctor before, you should talk with the office and request a list of parents who have agreed to be contacted. There is no way to guarantee any information from online and it is crucial to verify information that anyone gives out....internet or not.

    Default Circumcision

There have been many posts of late so now I am just making the awareness of circumcision and that parent/s can reply either to this post or private message if they do not want to fear being ridiculed for their decision.

I think this is a wonderful idea!! As has already been stated, alot of people want more information about the procedure but are too scared to ask.

Also just would like to point out that the warnings (to people viewing this thread) about 'make sure you do your research and get the opinion of a medical professional' IMO are stating the obvious. When searching for a specialist, do you open the phone book, close your eyes and stab your finger somewhere on the page? No, you get advice from people you trust.

Good job Ron123 !! Thankyou for helping us parents be informed

I don't know what your problem is, but I'm sure it's hard to pronounce

It's my understanding that the OP is not offering "more information about the procedure", he is offering a personal referral service.

    ---

Helpful hint for newbies who might happen upon this frequently-bumped thread: We're all anonymous. Before you seek advice or information from a stronger, it may be helpful & wise to get to know that person via their beliefs/knowledge through previous posts throughout a forum such as this.

To do this, click on their screen name and then click, "Find all posts by _________."

    Happy researching!

    Default circumcision

I do not know any of the dr's at all, however I have read their reviews by parents in forums. I do not gain financially from providing their contacts. Dr's doing this or as would appear as in all the people that have contacted me by PM I have been able to provide a Dr's contact in less than 100 klm for Australia wide in all but 1 instance. I know there are many wanting this procedure but are in fear of ridicule when they seek information so if they send me a message they can avoid this mudslinging and get the information they want.

    Default is there anyone interested

I receive many PM in this regard but not too many replies in the forum. Just bringing it to the attention of those needing contacts.
