Melk - Thanks so much beautiful mumma to be. You will be home with your baby and I'm not going to land on your doorstep, but I would really like to drop in and see you both for a quick visit if possible. By then hopefully bub is in a bit of a routine, and you can eat the yummy cakes I'll bring with me (to help you with your calcium and protein levels of course)

Thanks for the lovely messages girls. It is just starting to sink in

I need a few BFPs to distract me until August though. Here is some to help with that over the next few months.

Congratulations STARFISH that is great news

MILLIE - Very exciting cant wait till August for you

AFM - I must be crazy or something I actually postponed my scan by a week so an extra week to wait! I would not have been 7 weeks when they had me booked in and said "some" see a heartbeat at that stage. Well i didnt want ot set myself up for unnecessary anxiety so ive opted to wait. had to b ea week wait as they dont scan on Thursdays and Fridays and tues and wednesdays I go into work.

so instead of next Monday its another week again after that

wondering if i did the right thing but its done now

MUM4NAY AND PB - when are your scans?

Gardenia - I think you've done the right thing - i will do the same if i make it that far - the last thing you need is any uncertainty - that just messes with the brain!. I have a follow-up BT tomorrow so fingers crossed - so nervous now!

    Hey Gardenia2,

I got my scan done with all my children at the 5 w 6d mark and saw heatbeats.

I was just tooo impatient to wait any longer.

7 weeks will be fine to see a heartbeat.

I agree - 7 weeks you definitely should see a heartbeat or something definitely IS wrong...

Starfish - congrat's on the new job - do you still have next monday off???

Pinky - glad you're still with us! Good luck tomorrow with the bt

Gardenia - sounds like you're travelling along just fine - confident enough to delay scans - wow, not me!!

AFM - scan is Thursday.... can't wait!

Unhappy Warning selfish me post ....

    Hi All,

Sorry I just have to dump this all here, yesterday my sister tells me that she is pregnant and due the same time that I was - I'm just emotionally completely shattered - and THEN she goes on to tell me that they weren't trying and that it is very inconvenient (and she knows everything about what I have been through). Then today I go and see the FS and I am ovulating NOW but my lining is too thin - not surprising given that I am only a week out from the second D&C - so no transfer this month. Pathology showed there was some placental tissue left behind and inflammation, but not enough obviously to stop ovulation. So now I have to wait (more bloody waiting) until AF shows up, and then scan at 10 days to see if lining is okay. Just feeling like the world is a mean and brutal place and that this is never going to happen for me.

Sorry, I'll do personal posts later but I just had to get this out.
