    Goodluck today Dr M.

Starf1sh - I hope this time passed quickly fir you & you move closer to having your family soon.

Slinky - the weirdest place I had to shoot up was in a hospital public toilet. It wasn't an IVF hospital either & was pretty grungy. I was thinking 'Trainspotting' at the time ;-)

Heaps of babydust to everyone here.

Donna - Congratulations, although a very quick entrance to the world!!!! Glad Keira is growing nicely and will be home with you soon.

DrM - Good luck today. You get to see your little bubbas again on the big screen . Really hope your MS starts to settle down. Will be thinking of you today.

Starfish - best of luck sweet girl. Hope you get some conclusive answers this time. My thoughts and hugs are with you. Rest up and be extra kind to yourself.

Slinky - Glad to hear your cycling again. for you. Yes, the places we've had to "shoot up". I have a sharps container at home with some used syringes etc in it and am too embarrased to take it to the chemist until one of my girlfriends is back working there. At least she knows I'm not a "junky". Silly really.....

JFB - glad the DHEA is surging through your body. I never really had much in the way of side effects. Libido did increase though. I think hubby wished I could stay on forever.

AFM - still plodding along. Felt a bit down the other day. Some people should just mind their own business. I happened to go into a deli before going to the hairdressers and the woman behind the counter asked "how long to go" blah blah blah. She was so nice and then just had to add "gee - you've certainly left it a little late". Hmmmmm...............I just wish I had the guts to retaliate with "oh yes I sooooooo planned my pregnancy to be closer to 40 than in my 20s or early 30s". "I sooooo planned to fall in love with a man who had a vasectomy and kids from a previous marriage so we couldn't afford to have IVF until now and oh, don't forget, I soooooo planned to have a tumour in my ovary which delayed starting ivf, have low ovarian reserve, respond poorly to the drugs and have repeated tries until I thought we had suffered enough dissapointment to "deserve" a pregnancy." Grrrrrr..................some people I could throw a match on.

Anway enough of my venting. to everyone I have missed. Hope you are all well and enjoyed your weekend.

    Luv & hugs, always
    xxx

Starfish - Thinking of you heaps

Thank you for all the good wishes. All is perfect with T1, jumping around like a gymnast, all measurements as perfect as possible and heart beating strongly.

Unfortunately, little T2 stopped growing a few days ago at 11.5 weeks and no longer has a heart beat. It's NT was 6 mm suggesting a chromosomal problem so the poor little dear was not meant to be. I'm feeling quite numb at the moment, but for some reason I think I already knew. My belly had grown so much in the past 2 weeks but then seemed to get a little smaller over the weekend.

I know the blood test is not going to shed any light on the risk for T1 so I told the U/S specialist that I'm not going to phone back for the results today. It will just stress me out majorly so we'll wait for our Ob appointment next week. The risk based on U/S alone for T1 is 1/685 (equiv to a 27 yr old) which we are very happy with and don't believe there is any justification for invasive testing. The risk is just too great.

    Big hugs to all oxox
