Default Going out with pre made formula

so I 'm new to using formula and was wondering if it's ok to take out pre made formula in a bottle instead of mixing it when out? How long can premade formula be left out? Thanks!

I do! I premake all my formula at night for the following 24 hours at put it in the fridge, when I have to go out I just pop it into an insulated bottle bag. If he will be feeding within the next hour I preheat the bottle, if it's gonna be longer and I'm going somewhere I can heat the bottle I will heat it when it's out.

Pre-made formula is a breeding ground for bacterial growth, especially if the water is still warm.

The way a lot of FFing parents do it is to take a bottle of boiled hot water and a bottle of boiled cooled water, and formula separate. When the time comes for baby's bottle, tipping the cooled water into the boiling water until the right heat is reached, and then adding the formula to make up the bottle.

This way, the water is as sterile as it can be right up until the formula is added, and then given to the bub.

An hour on the bench, 24 in the fridge. Formula should be made as you go.

I used to half fill bottles with cool water, take thermos of hot water & make as I went.

I used to make up a jug worth 24 hours and pop it in the fridge. But when going out I'd just take one of those formula containers where it's segmented into 3 or 4 so you just pop the scoops in each section all measured out.
