Default Any tips on Getting labour started naturally??

My due date isn't till Sunday, but i can barely walk (it's more of a waddle that a cowboy whos been riding a horse for 10 weeks non stop would do) and want this lil buggar out ASAP!!
Has anyone tried a natural suggestion eg. Curry, Sex, Castor Oil & had it work for them??
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as my 1st son went overdue & i don't think my body can take it this time round!

    THANKS ALL!!

You can try acupuncture- many women swear by it.

I was 5 days over with my 4th, don't like curry, sex was NOT an option (still suffering awful m/s) so I mowed the lawns....and those of our 5 neighbors I went into labour in the early hours of the next morning.

    But yeah, try the acupuncture.

agree, try accupuncture (I really enjoyed it and cant wait to have it with this bub), walking up and down steps or one foot on/off the curb, just get out and walk....

Mind you, nothing worked for me!! LOL - i tried everything.... went 10 days over my "due "date

On my due date I spent hours sitting on an exercise ball bouncing while watching tv. I was trying to get bub in a better position but my water broke that night and I think it was coz of the bouncing!

I was 5 days late had sex and as soon as we were finished lobour started..

It stopped again that night but the next day I woke up in full blown labour and had my baby that after noon
Be careful when letting go of things you think mean nothing to you, You just might end up looking back and realising you let go of something you wanted after all...

Thanks for all the tips everyone, Due date is here but the wee one is yet to arrive. Typical male.
I tried most things suggested with my last son, he went 10 days overdue & decided to come out on the day i was due to be induced, cheeky or what?!
Will have to try accupuncture if this wee one decides to stay hidden in the next few days.
The midwife is going to perform a finger sweep on Weds to try & speed things along, has anyone had this work successfully??

    THANKS AGAIN EVERYBODY!
