    Default What colour buttons?

I have a dark denim skirt that has matching fabric buttons down the front. The skirt is in great condition but the buttons are wearing terribly at the edges. They make the whole skirt look really tatty, so I thought replacing the buttons would be a cheap and easy way to tart it up again .

However I can't decide what coloured buttons to use... the skirt is that dark, indigo denim colour, not quite navy. The buttons are quite large, about an inch in diameter, so the colour I use will make quite an obvious change.

    Any suggestions?

i'd go for something bright and contrasting. The colour would still have to be something that would go with a lot of things though because being a denim skirt I can imagine it has been worn with a range of different colours??

Red was the first colour that come to mind but maybe white too. Not sure. Maybe take it with you when you go to pick out the buttons.

I love red and denim together too, I was thinking of that... however I am partial to pink as well; I have a couple of coral tops I often wear that might not agree with red .

    Metal might be the go...
