    Default Sibling name for Evangeline!

Hello all! (I used to be Katieflutterby for those who remember me!!) I am due with bub no. 2 in May, and my first beautiful daughter is named Evangeline. Im starting to think of sibling names for our new bub. If its another girl we would love something equally feminine and beautiful as Evangeline. Boys, I guess I havent given as much thought yet, I was mainly thinking about how I would find another girls name as gorgeous as Evangeline.

    Any suggestions?
    Me - 28 DH - 29
    DD - 23 months
    D? due 1st May!!

Thanks almfam! We love it too. We copped a bit of slack from family initially, I made a post about it ages ago, and we ended up finally going with Evangeline after many many months of deliberation after she was born. It was our favourite name by far, and we both loved it so thats all that matters!!

The name is in several movies, its in Nanny McPhee, and also the newest Disney movie Princess and the Frog. She gets Eve or Evie most of the time, but she has so many options with her name in the future. Its our perfect name. We hope we can find something equally perfect for our next bubba. Im sure we will

All the best with your bub!

Someone else made a post about the name Emmeline, I also love that! I dont know if its too similar to Evangeline though...

Brusselsprout I love all of those! I wonder if DH will like any of them?? He was the one who was hard to please in the name game!

I love Violet, it was one of our shortlisted names, but DH is not a fan...

I like the combination Charlotte Ivy.... Ivy is actually a family name for me, a few generations back.

    Violet is my fav!
If this baby is a girl, she'll be 'Violet Matilda'
Evie and Violet would be perfect together!
    Keep working on your Dh!
Ivy is also a fav of mine but Evie and Ivy would be a little too similar perhaps...!
I do like Charlotte but it's a little 'mainstream' for me.
    Good Luck!

I was going to say Genevieve, but if your first gets called Evie, perhaps not.

I like Gabriella. nn could be Gabbie, Bree, or Ella.

I also like Matilda (nn Matty? Tilly?).

You could also look at Hawaiian names. I think there's some very pretty ones, with lovely meanings, but then I'm biased, as our daughter has one for her middle name.

Miliani is Hawaiian for "gentle caress".
