Default wanting to move to gold coast, suburb choice?

Hi there, my hubby and i have made the major decision to move to the gold coast in the next couple of years, with our 4 kids. I have no idea about which suburbs are good, i have heard nerang isnt very nice? Can you please give me some ideas on which suburbs are in the medium price range but close enough to schools etc?

I am in Miami and it's pretty nice. Though I think that if I could afford to move I'd definitely go to coomera, everyone I know there loves it and when I drive through it looks so nice.

I would probably suggest coomera - although it is a largish suburb, so some 'nicer' areas than others (if u know what i mean). It's one of the booming suburbs on the northern end of the coast, away from the 'touristy' part with the beaches and all - but it's right there if you like.

Thanks girls, sounds good, i have had a look at the real estate guides online and they seem to talk up just about all the suburbs so it really doesnt give me any idea on whats good and whats not! Coomera does look affordable, how far away from major shopping centres is it?
