Default gender swaying for a boy

I am not ttc but i may in the future and i'd love a boy (i have girls atm) - i would be happy with another girl also but figure i could give gender swaying a go (nothing to lose).
So what can one do to improve the chances of having a boy and has tried it and succeeded in having a boy?

    How's the serenity?

    Hi Mothers milk
Okay i had a DD and we tried for a boy last Nov, HE is currrently 8 weeks old.
Not sure if it was luck of the draw or actually from trying but it cant hurt to try can it.

Okay you need to regulate your period so you know exactly when you ovulate, this can take a few months. You need to know about your Cervical Muscus which is quite gross but part of the process. about 5 days prior to ovulating you need to abstain from sex altogether and only have sex on the day you are most fertile (most stringy and wet, god that sounds gross) when you have nookie make sure he's had a coffee
(or something with a lot of caffiene) and in a deep position (doggy is probably best)

good luck...let us know how it goes. you are lucky they say its easier trying for a boy then a girl. xx

Thanks everyone - it is not something i take too seriously as i am happy with whatever sex but have always wanted a son so might as well give it a go and if it doesn't work then no big deal - i'll happy have another gorgeous girl
DH drinks coffee and wear tighty whitey underwear and i have a low sex drive and mostly only feel like it when i'm ovulating (i can feel ovulation) so it appears i have been gender swaying for a boy without realising - and have two girls

Mothers Milk I used to get ovulating pains too but then i realised the pain was felt about 2 or 3 days before i actually ovulated. checking you CM is the best way to go!
    Good luck with it all.

I agree to give it a go! you never know!

Well we have two girls that were conceived at ovulation, then have a boy who was a complete surprise and we dtd at least 5 days before ovulation. I honestly don't know how we even got pg and then I assumed he had to be a girl considering when we dtd! I thought maybe I ovulated early but an early ultrasound proved that I ovulated when I thought I did.
DH doesn't drink coffee or anything with high amounts of caffeine. He just must've had a super strong boy swimmer that month!
