I started acupuncture 2 weeks ago..had 2 sessions with a guy who specialises in fertility so fingers crossed. It does hurt for maybe 2 seconds while e moves the needle around and only on spots i have less fat.. like top of feet and hands. but its all worth it if I get a BFP afterwards

My sister actually had the same problem I did and saw a chinese herbalist and only took her 1month on the herbs to get her cycle going and was preg soon after that!! So def give it a go I say..

    Goodluck!

    Hi niwanthi

my acu costs 70 per session and my herbs are 160 a month so 70 a week seems a bit high to me!! It's tablet form he makes the tablets up and posts to me. Just went to another appoint with him for my next supply and he was suprised I didn't get my p yet I also asked about the tablet that makes u ovulate therefor get ur period ( getting impatient after nearly 10months) he said about Chinese medicine being best for ur body and western just forcing it body.. So I'm gonna keep with Chinese for now.got to be patient I spose but I reallllllyyy want to have a babyyyyyyy as we all do..

Good luck will keep u updated on how I go!
    Xo

Well well well... I went to my first session at eastwest and it was pretty full on. I was a bit anxious about the whole sticking needles thing, but that ended up being for nothing.... I have chinese meds and a lot of advice of what to do to help the chances of conceiving (fingers crossed). Jenny did a ovulation treatment (as I am on day 17) which was interesting - electrical / tens like sensation through the the needles...

Overall I was happy with my experience and I hope that it does help!! I have coincidently decided to stop drinking coffee, so I have a headache today but not sure if it is the caffeine or if it is the meds...

    Hi all,
I thought I'd share my story as it is similar to niwanthi. I started Chinese medicine with acupuncture earlier this year due to PCOS I experienced a m/c at 5w 3 days also, I continued with my treatment and two weeks later I conceived this little one I'm now 19w preggers.
I loved the treatment I received but hated the drinks yucky lol but it works.
    I wish you all luck.

I was on the herbs and accupunture a couple of months when this on decided to stick then I cintinued till I was about 15w preggers. A friend also got preggers with his treatment to she now has a one year old.
I don't think you need to wait till you get you period back cause they can help bring it on.
Althought I don't want to get you hopes up but have you tried a hpt?
I havent had a period since my mc due to being pg again.
How far are you into your cycle?
    Do you do ovulation tests?
Best wishes and I have my fx for you.

    Hi Ladies!!

Just thought i would put in my two cents worth - I do frequent acupuncture (and chinese herbs - well i'm spose to but dont anymore ) and withing the first two months or so my cycles were back to 28 days and ovulation bang on day 14! With the first session my period pain vanished forever, and Also, i sleep like a log now, and i've noticed lots of other changes, which it has also helped many other things that have popped up along the way like constipation, neck pain, chesty coughing etc

I stopped going for a bit as my FS told me that i have to stop, but when we found out that hubby has very low sperm count, i went against our FS's advise and booked us both back in to the acupuncturist. My husband is currently on chinese herbs for his count etc and i have heard many cases of success with herbs for men within 3 months, we are one month in with hubby on yukky herbs, but he will do anything to improve the situation and help our hope for a little family. Fingers crossed it all works just as well for him as it has for me.

So in summary i have a lot of faith that Acupuncture can help any woman or man with their situation, and hey in the end you will come out on top either way so you have nothing to lose!!

    Good Luck!!!
