    Default chinese medicine for infertility

    Hi to all,i am 31,and a healthy woman,trying to conceive for 2 years,and hasnt had a luck yet.my gyno,didnt find anything wrong with me except i was told that my thyroid level is high.so im on medication to that.
    3 weeks back,was the happiest day of our life.i found out that i was pregnant!! wow,what a beautiful feeling,but it didnt last long,had a M/C in 5 weeks and 3 days.im devastated,and going crazy.. with the help of a friend i went to see this chinese theropist and today is the 1st day of the start of my chinese medicine for infertility.has anyone had luck with those yet??

    Hi Niwanthi, I have not had any real experience with chinese medicine but have read a lot online about the benefits and am going to start acupuncture and chinese medicine next saturday (bit excited) so would also be interested to hear other BH experiences!!!!

    I also have a thyroid issue and had three miscarriages. I started Chinese fertility herbs and Japanese acupuncture at Ondol Oriental Medicine in Brisbane.

    My daughter is now almost 2 and a half

    Best of luck with it all. Japanese acupuncture is much more gentle - I found it very relaxing as well.

    Hi Leighr,

    I have been having irregular periods and trouble knowing when to TRY and conceive from that so I started going to a chinese herbalist 3 months ago.
    Still hasnt got my periods back to normal but I have heard it can take a few months..

    I started acupuncture 2 weeks ago..had 2 sessions with a guy who specialises in fertility so fingers crossed.It does hurt for maybe 2 seconds while e moves the needle around and only on spots i have less fat.. like top of feet and hands. but its all worth it if I get a BFP afterwards

    My sister actually had the same problem I did and saw a chinese herbalist and only took her 1month on the herbs to get her cycle going and was preg soon after that!! So def give it a go I say..

    I'd been trying for a year and then had a m/c and was a bit devastated. Within two month of going to Chinese acupuncturist (both acupuncture and drinking the stinky herbs) I fell pregnant again. Even before I fell pregnant I was really happy to be going - it felt like I was actually doing something to help both my body recover from the miscarriage and my mind start to become positive again as I was taking positive action. (I was feeling a bit lost, helpless and having a pity party before that).


    It has been an amazing sensation to feel like someone is taking care of you. I had spotting early on and my acupuncturist said to race in and see her - my dr said "sorry, you'll just have to wait at home for another m/c". Which is not to disparage Western medicine, it just shows the different approach. With the Chinese medicine I feel that I as a person am being stabilised so that I can carry a baby - so its about making me good wholly so that I'm a good carrier. It's also freaking lovely to have 45 minutes every fortnight where I get to lie down and rest - its my only time to myself that I get!

    Am now 28 weeks and on the countdown to a happy and healthy baby soon!

    Thats great.i was exactly like you.i wasnt confident enough,and wanted to left alone.the doctors at the hospital told me last week,that i have more chance of having a m/c as i have a tyroid problem.i was lost.but as u have mantioned on urs,since i started chinese medicine ,i do feel relief and im very much confidence.im looking forward to experience that wanderful experience.yeha!!! tht medicine is not so great to taste but each tme i drink those i say to myself ,"well im dong ths for u,and prepared to anything for u" congratulations hun,please feel free to share ur pregnancy journey.love to hear from u again.please takecare
