Default Another breakfast cereal for DS

DS is 13 months and usually has weetix or oats for breaky. I want to try another cereal inbetween for a change. What can you suggest? Thanks!

I give my daughter a combo of those mini weetbix bites in either honey or berry and Uncle Toby's 'Plus' in Cranberry (but she's eat any flavour & she eats both individually but I like to mix it so she gets a bit of everything). I have to admit that I haven't looked at the sugar content but I'm sure it beats a lot of other kids cereals. It's what I have for brekkie so it makes it easy.
My DD is 19 months and had been eating this since she was approx 11 months.

Have you thought about adding some fruit to the weetbix for something different? Every so often I'll add mashed banana or purred apples to DDs weetbix.

I'm not sure about the sugar content etc, but both my kids love Nutrigrain.

During term time, my kids alternate between Weetbix, Weetbix bites, Special K Forest Berries and Sultana Bran.

In the holidays they get to choose a box of whatever they like which is invariably one of the sugary cereals like Froot Loops, Crunchy Nut, NutriGrain or Coco Pops.

They have some great cereals in the health food isle of supermarkets...

Rice flakes, corn flakes with blueberries, brown rice porridge, oats, muesli etc .

Muesli is great, my kids have it every morning. i mix it with those organic corn or rice puffs that you can get in the health food isle, then top it with some fruit and yoghurt.

Bircher muesli is another great one to make. Definitely avoid things like nutrigrain and other sugary ones Nutrigrain has more sugar than coco pops!

Yeah, one morning pear then apple, banana etc. He is still eating it, maybe I am just sick of serving him weetbix or oats

DD is 20 months. She has weetbix with banana or she shares breakfast with me. I usually have Uncle Tobys Plus Essentials for Women cereal. The one with pommegrantes.
