    Default Sunscreen for babies

Just wondering when did you start to use sunscreen on your bub.

Not sure if I should be using it at such a young age, but I do intend to take him swimming etc this summer and obviously dont want him to get burnt.

He has his little rashie and hat as well.

Any brand recommendations would be good too.

    Thanks!

I like the WotNot sunscreen for us, including my little one. It doesn't have as many nasty things in it as some of the others I looked at.

The kids invisible zinc is what we will be using - it is just zinc very simple and good for sensitive skin!

I thought 'd read that you shouldn't use sunscreen on bubs until they're 12 months but as we were going to Hamilton Island for 10 days when my DD was 8 months old, I wasn't risking her getting burnt, even tho she had all the other gear on.
I searched but couldn't find a sunscreen that had an age on the back to I just grabbed the Le Tan Kids Mist Spray 30+ and tested it on a patch of her skin. She was fine and I used it on her everyday with not a worry in the world.

I think I have a Banana Boat one thats made for babies. I haven't used it yet, but its in my nappybag just in case. Stupid rain here makes it unnecessary for usage at the moment lol.

I use the bananna boat baby one when DS was a baby and now use it on both of my kids. Its in a pinky colour roll on bottle. Have found it so easy to apply I use it for me too.

I have this one too, it's free from chemicals and nanoparticles.

I have only just started using it at 13 months
