The one I use is called Doctors at Coomera. They are excellent...even though I've only been 3 times now. They are situated at the shops on the corner of Yaun Street in Coomera. Just near Dreamworld.

And WOW! That doesn't bode well...my labour was 68 hours long and I was in hospital for 5 days due to an emergency c-section...they can't run out of beds...lets hope I am lucky in March then and women who planned their pregnancies got pregnant so they didn't have to be pregnant during summer!

And they should bulk bill babies...if they are on your medicare card. Strange. Maybe they found it to be a fountain of wealth in making new mothers fork out more money because they were worried about the health of their newborns (wouldn't suprise me much).

And another wow! Your little one was born on the due date they gave me for Macaulie! Haha, small coincidence.

    Hi girls,
I've been lurking for a bit but thought i should finally come in and say hi.

Before becoming pregnant i weighed about 98kg. I'm now 17.5 wks and weigh nearly 100kg. I've found the hospital (i'm going public) to be really good about my weight. They said they don't start to worry too much until the BMI reaches 40. I'm 34 so plenty of room to move

Just wondering if peoples preggy tummys are hard or soft? Mine is getting bigger but still feels squishy? Is this normal or does it take longer for bigger women to get the proper tummy (i always imagine the preg tummy to be hard).

    Hope everyone is doing well!

mine feels squishy at the bottom but hard and firm under my rib cage...really odd. I think it depends on the size of the baby and the mother...say if your my height (5ft 2 in) then the baby pops all the way out the front and you get firmer quicker...but if you're quiet tall then the baby has room to grow within your frame and you don't get as big but are left with a squishier (is that a word?) stomach.

And that is pretty good...only 2 kgs in 17.5 weeks! I always put on 5-10kgs in the first 3 months and then found out because I am so small (in height) that the baby presses on my stomach and I can't each much so I end up dropping the weight that I gained and then some.

    Oh and WELCOME!

Thanks for your reply Caszie87. Yeah, i'm a bit taller. So that might explain it. I just wish it would hurry up and get harder so i don't just look fat!!!
I wish i would lose weight the further i go along.....don't think i will though. If anything i'll be the size of a house. With you being a smaller person does that mean that you become more uncomfortable sooner? I'm a newby to all this...first baby! I really have no clue

Yes that's exactly what it means. I feel like a house already and I'm only 23 weeks. Just over half way and I can't get comfortable sleeping and I have trouble walking upstairs carrying my son (he is 13.6kgs though)...I can do it myself easy but as soon as I have to lug him up there or something else (even a washing basket of clothes!) I am out of breath so quickly.

And you definitely don't want the not being able to eat part...I got ravenously hungry and would eat half a sandwhich be so full and have to give the rest to my dog! All that wasted! And then 2 hours later I would be ravenously hungry again! But in a world where my husband is eating more (I think he is getting my pregnancy hunger!) and my son is eating more it doesn't really matter - whatever I can't finish, they can.

Hello! I only recently got my BFP after 2 an a half years of trying. We almost gave up hope. It was always blamed on my weight! But here we are... We have miscarried in the past so we are holding our cases close to our chest! I hope that you wont mind me asking questions an just hanging around in general! Talk soon ladies!
