Just a quick update... thanks for your good wishes for my FET this morning. They ended up thawing one of my morulas (in the freezer I had one early blast and two morulas). When I asked why did they use the morula and not the early blast, they said it was because the morula needed last night to grow a bit more, and if it wouldn't have worked then they could have pulled the blast out first thing in the morning, as apparently the blast would have only need 1-2 hours to thaw. Once explained, the science behind it sounded good, and it all turned out great. The morula thawed and grew nicely over night, and the FS said it was an "excellent" blastocyst, so it's now on board. I know that not all frozen embryos do survive the thaw, but again I think this success had to do with my sister's perfect eggies to start with and good donor sperm. Preg BT not until Mon 28/7, but AF likely to show up a good 4 days before that, if it's not to be.

All the best Bertie. It is encouraging to hear that good eggs and sperms can make such a different. Hope TWW is fast for you.

AFM: After long 7 months, I'll be going back East to pick up our precious embie. Despite the chance is very low, I am giving it a chance and hope for a miracle take home baby. I've tried everything: vitamins, acupuncture, new protocol and meds etc. I want to do it without regret. One step at a time..........first, I hope the embie thaws.

MissJude.... thanks for thinking of me. My official BT was this morning, however HPT said BFN and AF arrived last Friday, so it's all but confirmed BFN. Go back to see FS next Tues, and have already been back to see Dr M, the immune specialist. He's changed a couple of things for the next FET - increase Clexane to 60 per day (I did a couple of cycles at 20, then a couple of cycles at 40, now he says to do 60 - sigh, why wasn't I just given 60 in the first place?!!) and like this cycle start Clexane a week before ET, don't worry with aspirin as the increased Clexane will cover that, have 400 progesterone pessaries for the FET even though FS says it's not needed (I did self medicate with 90 crinone this cycle as I still had some of that left over from a previous cycle), and do the IVIG 7 days before ET, as this time I did it just 2 days before ET.

I was hoping that combined donor eggs and donor sperm was going to t\do the trick, but this is the second BFN with both donated. We have two more DE/DS embryos to use as FETs, and then we'll go to SA to try younger donor eggs. Unfortunately I'm pretty much in the dumps about this, as if it hasn't worked with two tries of DE/DS embryos, then I really don't think it's the eggs/sperm problem, but rather my body problem. And unfortunately, we've tried absolutely everything immune issue related, and still not a hint of implantation, so am thinking I'm going to be that tiny percentage that it just doesn't work for.

    When are you due?

Thanks MissJude! I just did the lightning weekend trip to Sydney for trying the intralipid infusion. The BT today says i am almost ready to O. Grrr....last month was super late and this month early. It looks like i have to fly again fairly soon. I hope it doesn't fall on a Sunday transfer as they wont do it. Honestly, they cant put it back a day early or late so i dont know what they r going to do about it if it is the case.

It has been a long journey. I am so hoping to have a baby in my arms by now. I am sure Bertie feels the same. You must be very excited. Not so long now until the bub is due.

Bbhope.....Did they say you need another BT tomorrow then? Yes, IVFA only do transfers Mon, Wed, Fri and Sat, so if you ovulate tomorrow (Tues), then the FET will probably be next Mon, which would still be fine. It is one thing I've thought throughout this journey, is that other clinics do EPUs and ETs on any day of the week, though others are worse than IVFA and only do them once or twice a week. Yet again, wondered whether sometimes these set days have made a difference for many?

Bertie: yes, BT and first scan tomorrow. I didn't know that they only do transfer 4 times a week. When I asked FS if it would be a day 6 transfer as my embie was cultured until day 6 on our last phone call, she said no. The embie is on day 5 stage and they will have to put it back on day 5. Day 6 is a bit late! They can't expect a precise time if they want people to do natural cycle so I really don't know what to think ATM.
