Hi ladies, I assumed the donor sperm was pay per use, I hadn't thought about ordering it in though.

AFM I'm coming to the end of my 2ww. BT is still schedule for Monday as I couldn't make it to the clinic tomorrow. I woke up yesterday with an urge to throw my guts up, which woke me up pretty quickly. I did a HPT and got a BFP! However I felt so horrid I couldn't eat anything for the rest of the day. I feel better today and now I'm worried it was food poisioning rather than early morning sickness. I'm so confused. I can't wait until Monday. I'm weary of getting my hopes up before the official results.

    Hi Sweet.
Congrats!! If you got a BFP & weren't on Pregnyl or any other hcg then I'd say it's real. "Morning sickness" is a big misnomer. It can come & go at any time of day. Hope you get a great BT result!

You made me realise that didn't come & update this thread, I think because I didn't want to go off topic from azoo itself. But anyway, I got a BFP from my last attempt of AI at home with our donor. It actually worked!! Have had a couple of BTs & a scan & all is good so far, with a heartbeat. I am 7 wks + 2 days along.

First off im so sorry Bertie I know you were really hoping donor was going to get you the BFP this time around.

Congrats to you Peonis and Sweet Its great to hear some good azoo outcomes!!! I hope everything goes well from here in. Any 'tips' on how you think it worked?

Ginios so sorry Dr G didn't find anything. He is in need of a success story soon! I hope you find a great matched donor soon!

    bbhope how are you doing?

And anyone ive forgot hows things?

AFM...I've been a bit MIA lately. We went a away for a little holiday before we jumped into this next cycle. So im 8 days into the gonal f. First I started at 200 and apparently wasn't responding very well so they upped it to 225. Start the Cetrotide tonight expect I cant use the syringe it comes with as it has to much in it so had to get 1ml syringes and use them. Im very worried how im going to cope with using and actual syringe on myself. The pens im ok with its only a small needle and doesn't have the plunger on it. Ill see how I go at 830 tonight Scan on monday to see where im at and what day they might think EPU will be. Feeling a little low and tired today I think the drugs are catching up with me. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day

    Hi, ladies,

I am back. I couldn't check the forum often when I was away on business trip. I updated a bit on my last post when I got a minute and internet access. Sorry, I have been MIA. I found excuses not to travel as much as I could when we started trying last year. To make it up, I was sent oversea for a month this time.

Ginios, sorry to hear that Dr. G didn't find any sperm. At least you know that you had tried everything. Is there any success story here with Dr. G procedure?

MCG, maybe next time is the charm. Don't give up.

Sweet, congrats! Excellence news. Thanks for your GP advice. We will continue to search for a good one. People at work are very sensitive. When I asked my female colleagues if they know any gynaecologist or GP who does routine exam etc last time, they kept asking me if i were pregnant. We didn't tell anybody in the family or friends about our baby plan. I certainly don't wish my colleagues know about it.

Ya, regarding your question about medicare rebate. Yes, we aren't Australian PR. We are paying a lot out of pocket. Our private insurance doesn't cover anything that isn't considered medical necessary, such as fertility consulation visits. Then, why are we planning to have a baby right now rather than waiting to settle down? It is a long story. We aren't exactly young anymore. I am 30 and DH is 36. We figure that it will never be a good time due to our profession.

It is a very frustrating situation. DH has been in Australia for 6 yrs, only contract jobs. I am also on contract and both of our companies aren't willing to sponsor. We both have high education degrees but unfortunately our degrees don't fall into the skilled migrant category to allow us to apply PR without a sponsor. There was a chance to get DH contract renew last year with a longer term this time around (enough to ask for a PR sponsorship) but due to some unforeseen circumstances, the organization postponed the decision indefinately. We have no choice but to wait it out. Hopefully, not any longer!! We were hoping a baby would bring the new happiness to us (priceless) but yet another hurdle. We just have to use our house saving for the treatment and FS visits.

DH went to see a new GP this week. He was hoping the GP would at least take a look at his junk (to check out the lump) but the GP didn't. The GP only made diagnosis based on what DH told him. We are starting to lose hope about the GPs here in Australia. DH gets an appointment to do the ultrasound and see a urologist in two weeks. Here goes another month. It is going to be a long journey. I don't think the referred urologist is FS but DH doesn't care at the moment. He just wants to make sure the lump isn't cancer before moving on to deal with the azoo problem.

    This is my update......

bbhope this sounds like a good plan of action, regardless of what the lump turns out to be. The urologist we saw is also an expert in male infertility (more of an expert in male fertility than our fertility specialist). A GP doesn't know much about azoospermia, and if that was already confirmed, they probably felt it best to get a specialist in to check things out ASAP. And two weeks is not a long wait really, although I know it's another month on hold for you. Hang in there - I hope the results come out ok.

    peonies! Congratulations!!

TwoSouls... Good luck with this cycle. Let's hope that donor sperm works for you. I so have my fingers crossed for you.

Bbhope... some days are worse than others, but we're so hopeful that the next cycle has to be the best possible. It will be the third cycle with this FS, so hopefully he will have a good plan for next time. Thanks for thinking of me. I'm trying to be patient, waiting out my time for cycle #5. It's still two weeks off before our appointment to see the FS, so I've been trying to keep busy and not lose my head over babies. But today I came home from work, so sad about not having a baby, so thought I'd get back on Bubhub, where all the other people with no babies are, and if nothing else, reality check puts things back into perspective, so feeling a tad better now. Otherwise nothing new to report :-)) Thanks for your update, the financial strain is not a good addition to the rest of the stresses of TTC, but for you, us and many of the people on here, we're trying not to let money get in the way of our dream. Good luck.

Peonies... I know I've already said congrats, but whenever I see a post or update from you, it always puts a smile on my face and gives me hope. So excited for you xx

MGC: I have the exact same feeling today. Babies everywhere and yet I still have to wait who know when to have one. Also, we just visited DH sister who just have a baby. To make the matter worse, she doesn't want the baby to begin with. It was an accident. So I feel like a knife pierces through my heart -- life isn't fair.

I am a bit confused now and would like to ask some stupid questions. Do all the azoo people ejaculate without milky semen? or with semen but no sperm?

Bbhope... hehe, there's no such thing as a stupid question on here. It's great that you can ask anything on here. My DH ejaculates with normal semen (normal quantity and normal consistency), it's just that there's no sperm in it (or sometimes just one or two). Can't speak for others, but that's us. What are you confused about?

Hmmm...DH mentioned that his semen texture looks different when he gave the sample for SA. So I looked up the internet for what variation it can be. Then, I got confused. I thought maybe people with azoo have different semen texture. It sounded like this isn't the case.

    Hi, ladies,

it is me again. Apparently, DH only gets the ultrasound appointment for next week. The urologist clinic (not the fertility clinic) does not want to make an appointment for him until they see the ultrasound. They said that the appointment is given based on priority. Grrr.......this is frustrating. DH will be on business trip again for 3 weeks. That's why I wish he could get that lump checked before leaving. I guess I am just being impatient.
