I wrote a long reply last night and it didn't post *sigh*
@MGC Bertie ... it was a TESA! A mTESE should be a walk in the park for him!

Congrats @Jenniwithanl hopefully it sticks for you

@DererminedOne was thinking about your FS you saw and after all of this if it doesn't feel right in your gutt find someone else. If I had listened to my gutt maybe this would not have happened (or as my DH likes to say ... maybe it would have been worse).
@bbhope hopefully you get some news soon

DH is still in hospital at this stage looking like he will be in tonight and come out tomorrow. We will see what happens. He is getting alot better though. He is on penacillin antibiotics but is only having endone every 24 hours now instead of 3 times a day. It seems like the change in antibiotics may have done the trick.

Does anyone know if the haematoma will affect finding sperm at mTESE? As in say there was sperm there having a haematoma does that affect finding any at mTESE.

    Hope that makes sense.

    Default Azoospermia

Don't know Malak. I don't think it is a permanent problem. Isn't that haematoma will resolve itself?

AFM, result is finally in. BFP!!!! Kinda a long winding story. I had an appt with an OBYGN to discuss intralipid and "blob" last fri. So I thought it would have been good to know if it was BFP or BFN to carry on the discussion at the appt. FS said I should wait until official BT, which was yesterday. Anyway, for my sanity, I got a referral from GP to go ahead with a BT last fri, only the path lab messed up. It said BFP with >25. When I asked why there wasn't a number, they said that it was way too low to be quantified. So I freaked out! After having two chemical pregnancies, I know way too well what the number means. To be honest, I can't be sure and too excited until I see the number. Thus, didn't want to say anything here just yet. I was in the nervous mood!

So....first beta: ~550, second beta: ~1500. I almost fell off the chair when I was told about it being ~550! I thought they made a mistake with an extra digit. So this is certainly an early implanter? I did say having a cramping the night after transfer and I thought that's way too early to happen. Or my embie is on steroid. Lol. In fact, I am on steroid.

Ya, still feel a bit surreal. I will push for another BT in few days to check the level again.
@JenniwithanI: my P4 has also dropped quite a lot. 200 to 180. I switched to pessaries only now. So I guess I just don't absorb enough with pessaries as compared to crinone. I am going intralipid this evening. I will ask the dr about this.

    @bbhope woo hoo congrats!

Yeah they said that the haematoma will resolve itself. He is being released now and will be on antibiotics for another 2 weeks and has to see Dr Wood next week. I sent the Dr a text basically saying we need an appointment but you don't have any.

    Default Azoospermia

    Ok so update girls!!!
I've called and I've got skpe app booked in for ivf aust 17/02 @ 11am with dr Persson as Dr Golovsky wasn't available soon enough and queensland fertility group with Dr Yazdani 16/03 at 2pm.....I know right what your thinking why two??? Because I'm not leaving any stone unturned and I'm going to go with who can give me the best chance!
I need two new referrals for them both after Skype apps I will choose out of the two. I also need to hook up with a FC/FS as far as ivf goes with qld, I think ivf aust works in with FS.
I need to send to both clinic referrals and all tests, reports etc to the new specialist..
I can't get in to see Dr Chung until I've see FS!
And DrG well he would perform surgery but has his minions to the rest that why I'm seeing DrP

We had to have all our bloods done yesterday again boy there was a lot of vials. I wasn't happy about going to our local path center! The lady taking my blood asked if we where having trouble FFS I felt like saying what do you think!!! Her reply to my yes we are ohh I'm so sorry that must be heart breaking....aaaahhh yeahhh!!! Felt like saying GF*D (unprofessional I think) I won't be having any more test here again!!!
@bbhope did you do Interstate patient travel scheme?

Don't we all love the local path lab here? First clinipath (no value, HPT can just tell me BFP or BFN. Don't need a lab for this). Second western diagnostic (urgent = not so urgent next day service and no idea where my blood sample 0went). After two drama in a week, I might be trying the third pathlab (SJOG) next.

When did IVFA do skype appt? I asked many times and they said no. That's because you can't claim telephone consult from medicare. Dr Pearson is very nice. He picked up my after hr phone call once. I don't know if he does mTESE but he might be able to give you some info to start with. If DrG is dong the mTESE, Dr Pearson might well be your FS. In any case, they all work together. I won't worry about the FS part for you just yet. They will sort it out like in my case.

Because it is QFG, i suspect it won't be too hard to hook up with a FS. You can ask Dr. Yazdani who he would like to pair with. Some Drs hate each other if you know what i mean.

BTW, to make peace with DrR, i don't think you should tell them that you are going elsewhere.

@DererminedOne that sounds about right they need a referral before they will see you. I believe the referral is only good for 3 months so you may need an updated referral before the mTESE is done.

QFG are nice. Our FS is part of QGF but has a private room we go to.

Do you have private hospital? If not Dr Chung can do it at PA hospital (public) as a private patient to reduce the costs.
