I am b/f my 8 month old essentially 6 times a day every three hours the last feed for the day being 10.30pm as the angel sleeps through to 7am. He is on solids and has been since 6 months. B/F feeds haven't decreased in regularity perhaps only the amount he takes each feed. I haven't got my period and am on the mini pill but missed a pill and was a little late (just) with one. So, my problem is whether I take the morning after pill to prevent a possible pregnancy after we had unprotected sex. I called the Royal Womens and they said it is ok to take while breastfeeding but the pharmacist had his reservations. The leaflet in the actual pill pack said to not breastfeed for 36 hours! I am very confused and don't want to harm my baby. Any advice???
