Hi I'm new to this site. I'm 21.. 22 in 3 weeks and in july I miscarried. They told me at 8 weeks my baby hadnt grown since it was 5w6d and there was no heartbeart. A week later at another scan we were told it had absorbed itself. I was devestated but I think it could of been that I was under a lot of stress with assessments due at work and personal issues. It was a huge struggle for me and I became very depressed and my Boyfriend and I started fighting alot. I just became a different person and I didnt want to do anything or go anywhere and I was looking for an excuse as to why it happened that I would blame anything I could.

And here I am , its December and I'm pregnant again. Had my first scan yesterday at 8 weeks and the heart beat was 159 =D I feel overwhelmed and happy and sad and confused. I don't want to let myself get to excited in case something happens. I don't want to lose this one. One thing that helps me.. is because the last one just absorbed itself back into my body.. I think maybe this one is the same baby... and last time it just knew that time wasnt right... and now it knew how sad I was that it decided to come back. Its a naieve way of thinking and I doubt thats what happened... but it calms me to think thats maybe what just happened. I havent told many people that I'm pregnant and my boyfriend is so happy about it and so over the moon. We don't know when to tell his family as they dont approve of me. Being as they are European and I'm from NZ. He's chosen to be with me regardless of what his parents think and I admire that from him as his family does mean a great deal to him.

Anyway I'm rambling on. Hope you all have a fantastic day.

Hi Jess, welcome! Sorry to hear that u find urself here, but congrats on your current bubba!

Its so hard after a MC isnt it? My MC is almost exactally the same as u described, except at 8wks bubs stopped growing at 5w3d.

You go through such a range of emotions, and its alot to get your head around! Not to mention it takes alot of the fun and joy out of future pregnancies as you feel that you've been ripped off and are worried it will happen again.

The best advice i can give you for your current pregnancy is try not to read into any symptoms, or lack there of that you have, and take each day as it comes, and enjoy your pregnancy as much as u can. If it helps with my MC i had morning sickness, then it disappeared one morning and i knew something was up, but with my bub (whos now 8.5mnths old) I didnt have one ounce of Morning sickness! Just a few queasy moments.

My MIL adores me, but i cant stand her! She's rude, degrades my DF and speaks alot of crap that ive proven to be untrue.... We didnt tell her till i was 16wks preggers, and that was only because we had to as she would've seen my belly growing.. If i had my way i wouldnt have told her at all....haha. My suggestion would be to first wait till your into the 2nd trimester and have had your NT scan...just as a precaution, though i know of some people who didnt announce till 20wks after their Morph scan to be sure things were ok.

Once again, congrats on the bub hope all goes well!

    Hey girls!! How is everyone???

Well piper is now 5 and a half weeks old and I think we are doing well! She is a pretty good sleeper and will sleep through any noise!! She is breastfeeding well although I have had mastitis! She is starting to become aware of her surroundings and is beginning to smile!! She feeds fairly regularly going 3-4 hours between feeds however she has started to have a big sleep in the evening from 830 for sound 4 hours so with a bit of time and mummy manipulation we should be able to move that sleep to a bit later!!!

She is a pretty content baby with very few bouts of crying although I do think we may have a little bit of silent reflux!!

My boys love her to bits and are very good helpers!! I am so in love with my baby girl!!!!

I hope you are all well xxx

    Hi girls!

Wow it's been so quiet in here! How's everybody going? Would love to hear some baby/belly updates!

If my memory is correct Sniper bub is almost one! And shadow your gorgeous little man will be one before you know it!

It breaks my heart how fast time goes and how fast they grow! DS is 8 months and HUGE! He is such a joy and such a good baby... i love him to bits and he was worth the wait and all the problems along the way!

Oohhh and speaking of problems.. a few of you would remember the horrible huge fibroid i had throughout my pregnancy... it's finally gone! Had surgery a few weeks ago and was in hospital for a week... broke my heart to leave DS but i'm so glad it's out and i won't have any more problems from it!!

Hopeful how is Piper going? Hope all is going well

AJ.. how's everything with you and bub?

I would love to see some updated pics of all the bubs!

Jesiica... how's everything going? I hope all is well and your enjoying your pregnancy... it is a long hard journey after a loss and you just have to take it a day at a time

Anyway just wanted to pop my head in and say hi and see if everybody is still around!

I hope you all had a lovely christmas and sending lots of positive vibes for the year ahead... i hope it's kind to us all xx

Hey Tasha! Great news that u finally got rid of the fibroid! Im amazed at how much time flies as well!

My little guy is 10 *Calendar* months next sunday! He's crawling everywhere and since christmas is starting to stand on his own briefly for a few seconds before giggling at himself for being so clever, and plopping onto his bum. Very cute! We've got 7 teeth, havent had much of a break since 5mnths old, they're always comming or giving him grief at the least.

Ive started planning his birthday this week! EEP! So exciting though. We're having a Teddy bear theme in blue and yellow.

    Hi

My ds is eleven months now and such a treasure, I will put up a photo but don't know how on my phone.

He is crawling and cruising like a maniac and loves to explore around the house, he is such a joy to me and I feel so blessed to have him.

We are working on another one now but have had no luck so far (3 months) which I have just found out is because if my thyroid, which is not working properly. Luckily the doc says it's easily fixed but I am freaking out about it because of my age (39). She reckons though that the meds will kick in and I will be preggers next month.

I get down about it though and feel I have had nothing but bad luck making our family. But saying that I have had good luck with my bubba so far as he is a very healthy and happy little bundle.

Hello again to all the mummy's out there who was on my pregnancy journey..

    Hi girls!

Sorry I've been MIA! Well, my gorgeous big boy is now just over 4 months old. He's been a champion sleeper, doing 11 hrs over night since about 9 weeks old (unlike his sister who decided to sleep through the night at 9 MONTHS)! He's fully FF and happy and healthy as anything. I was a bit sad at first that BF didn't work out for us, but certainly don't feel any less of a "bond" because of the way he's fed.
He's at that GORGEOUS, happy, smiley, toe-grabbing and rolling stage and is happily finding his voice, which is soooo cute.
Here's a pic that took me about an hour to figure out how to upload to the album! Ha! (hope it works...won't know until I post )

Just a brief one tonight...waiting up for DP who forgot his key and finding it hard to focus on the keyboard!

    Tracy x

    Gorgeous Aj.

I'm just over 9 weeks pregnant and counting down the next 3 weeks. 8 week scan showed healthy bub measuring 2 days ahead. Jabbing with clexane daily and hoping this is the baby we hold in our arms x
