lol sniper its only getting worse

Yesterday i brought EVERYTHING i need for bubs/hospital. The only things i dont have yet is more mat. bras. Ive got 1 bra and 3 crop tops. I want another 1 or 2 mat bras, but what i have SHOULD Get me through the first couple of days anyway. Other than that, and my clothes. Our bags are packed and ready! (Including snacks, a bottle of water and a 1L juice!)

Just need a nice day to wash all bubs stuff, then to get DF organised and clean HIS mess outta the room so we can finalise where bubs furniture is going etc.

Had a scare last night! I got home at 2pm and everything went blurry, i felt sick and had numbness in my hands, so i called the Midwives - who said to get up there ASAP! (It turned out to be a migrane, still have a residual headache) But while i was there they noticed protiens in my urine, and my BP was slightly elevated, and rose while i was there... BUT they eventually figured out the lady through the curtain at A+E who was BIRTHING her baby was probably the cause for it rising in there! So not only did i get to hear her scream, i got to hear the baby too lol After she'd been taken to the ward, my BP Settled right back down to normal, they done bloods and everything was ok.

Other than that all is good Still havent got the capsule fitted. After yesterday not much got done lol.

flippin'eck you're a machine. you inspired me and I just rang the red cross to organise the capsule hire. Funnily enough they matched my blase attitude and said "yeah look just rock up whenever 1-2 weeks before, or sometimes women send their husbands in while they're in the hospital to get it then". didnt have to book it or anything. so i'll go in feb 1 or so and see about it. want to make sure they are decent to start off with. i dont want some stained manky vile thing.

i have zero mat bras or tops, mainly because nothing has changed in that area at all. I will in the next week or two though pull out all the little baby clothes from DD and sort through and wash them etc. I'll bag up the really girly items so if it is a boy they can be put somewhere immediately or if they are a girl they can be brought into the mix.

I did buy a 000-00 sleeping bag at target this morning- we have a 0 sleeping bag and a size 2 as well (both crap quality though) and a 18 month- 36 month (good) one. I put that in the bag with the new blanket and bath toys that are good to go for the new bub. It is definitely a bit harder when you dont know the sex- if i knew it was a boy - i would've bought some more things by now fo sho.

stephsmum.. yay congrats on the boy! Glad your scan went well

Shadow, wow you are organised! While you have that cleaning bug i will happily give you my house keys!

Sniper.. wow your getting so close now! DD must be so excited about being a big sister!

    Hi to everybody else

afm... will be 20 weeks on Tuesday. I have my scan on Wednesday. Not finding out the sex even though the suspense is killing me!!

Saw my specialist on Thursday and he has me petrified. He is talking about removing the fibroid while im pregnant Im pretty sure he could tell by the look on my face what i thought of the idea! So he has said to see how it looks on the scan and he will go from there. Its so scary because nobody can give me answers about it and he didnt really explain what problems it could cause being there.

He said ideally he would like it to be ok and have me deliver normally at term. If its in the way they will do a ceaser and remove it at the same time but im terrified of what could happen between then and now.

Im too scared to buy anything for bubs in case something goes wrong. I just want to be at a stage where i know if bubs was to arrive early it would be viable.

Sooooo over the problems but such a relief to feel the little monkey in there kicking away each day

Hope everybody has a great weekend

LOL Tasha. Wow ur 20wks too almost! Thats gone so fast! I hope ur OB Can give u some answers thats really scary about wanting to remove the fibroid while ur pregnant. I hope that something can be sorted out. Glad ur also feeling movement now Tasha. It makes a huge difference relief wise huh?

AFM - All is going good. We went to the Target sale...and id say im totally finished buying stuff...lol Everything i brought, mum took instead lol. But i was looking and didnt actually NEED to buy anything, and i guess only having a very limited option helps (We only have Target Country) so while the normal catalogue is like 20 pages, ours is about 6. It was weird! We ended up only getting another wrap (Blue, gives me 2 blue ones), 3 fleece onesies, some socks and a rubber duck. (Mum insisted he needed 1. "All kids need a rubber duck") And thats all!

I am 6 weeks and 4 days and I had some spotting today. Some faint old blood at lunchtime and then nothing an hour later and then again just a moment ago, same faint brown.

My heart is racing and I feel sick (well, sicker, I've been in bed with Morning Sickness all afternoon!)

I'm holding onto the fact that lots of women have had spotting/bleeds and gone on to have a successful pregnancy. But that doesn't change how I feel. I feel helpless. I know its not enough to worry about going to outpatients at this time of night.

    Please stay baby...

Sending you sticky vibes, I had a few bleeds in my first trimester, one was bright red and I freaked out but all is well, almost halfway now so hopefully all is well!

AFM - Thanks for the well wishes everyone We have put some stuff on layby and bought a few items at target today, have also gone thru DD's baby clothes and got out any unisex stuff. Right now DF is going thru a baby names book getting ideas, boys names are a lot harder to pick from than girls names I am finding!
