anyone out there? LOL this has been a VERY quiet thread lately!

Thought I would just on and say hi to everyone.

Sniper - hope you are over your cold and feeling better.

Lucky - same & good to hear your OB is fantastic.

Super - how are you? have you hit the big 30 week mark yet? How exciting! Have you started getting organised? Hope your little man is treating you well

Fireflies - how are you feeling? You must be getting very big now! I hope that you are getting some sleep and that your back is not too sore. Not long now!!

Thee - OMG you're in your last week!!! How are you travelling? Hope you haven't popped early and we missed it! Would love to hear an update from you hope you are well

Shala - how are you love? You should be 20 weeks now? Or even further! Baby brain has got me!

Okay that is as far as I can see without going cross eyed, hope I haven't missed anyone, if I did it was not intentional.

AFM - been having a really rotten time at work. My office, while never super professional/organised, has turned into a kindergarten with people cracking the poos left right and centre and all being very whingy. My manager told me last week they are all stressed for when I go on m/leave because I am the "voice of reason" who normally calms everyone down. Well aren't I lucky? In all this "me me me" carry on and people feeling unappreciated/hard done by not once do they stop for a moment to think that maybe the heavily pregnant woman has enough to deal with and does not need to be playing referee to all their squabbles! And every time someone has time off etc I am stuck doing their work load as well as mine! Oh I could write a book about it but no point me joining in the whinging I just smile do my job stay happy and get the hell out of here at the end of the day . Not long now..... I spent last week interviewing replacements for my receptionist who is going to step up and do my job... the boss is doing second interviews today please let him pick someone and hire her quick so I can get training!

Getting organised at home now which is a lot of fun, getting the carpets cleaned tomorrow so we can set all little Miss's furniture up in her room and really start feeling like things are happening. I am 29 weeks tomorrow. Got a bit of shopping at the Target baby sale yesterday so have a few sheet sets and so on organised, as for everything else well who knows! I keep picking things off the shelf and asking DH - "do you reckon we need one of these" and he just laughs and says he has no idea! Oh we will get there in the end...

Okay girls belly rubs to all of you and I hope you are all happy and healthy and your bumps are growing nicely.

    Em
    xx

Hey girlies! Mela- good to hear from u! Ive been thinking the same thing..geez its quiet in here!!

Did anyone else have a breakdown where they wonder if it was a stupid idea to get preggers? I wet my pillow with tears last night and couldnt sleep on it! I was just SO upset...

DP now insists on telling his mum and wont drop the fact that we have to do it (and it needed to be done yesterday - so to speak) face to face and together. Mine found out over the phone, why cant she. I cant stand to talk to her over the phone let alone sit in a room with her! He keeps asking how much it will cost for petrol, then announcing when we've got a day off we HAVE to go see her together. I did offer to put him on the bus since he wants to see her so bad, but that didnt go down too well.

I just know shes going to be a hassle and try and control me or us, and the only thing that will relax me is the thought that i know if i dont want her in the hospital to see the baby or me i can ask the nurses to not allow her. I feel horrible for having to think this of his mother, and our childs grandmother as i never got the chance to know my grandparents and i dont want this one to be the same....but she seriously doesnt make it easy.

I seen how she just took DPs son off the mother (personally i would have reported her for kidnapping) and even now that DHS have taken them away from her custody, she keeps insisting to DP That shes "getting the kids back" because she "knows people and her DH has connections to the bikies and noone messes with them"... even when under governement custody she thinks she can take his kids!!

Not to mention the last time we all visited a mutual friend in hospital, she spent more time rummaging through cupboards and stuffing her pockets with tissues and gloves... I dont want that when im in hospy!! ... ugh just so frustrated.

I know i shouldnt put so much energy and stress into worrying about her... but he wont let up on it so its a constant thing in my mind.

    Just a quickie from me...

Still here and still waiting...just went for a 30min walk in the hope that it may push things along! However little miss appears to be very comfortable and not wanting to move!! DH and i have decided she's going to be a stubborn little thing and not come out till she's forced out!!

At my appt last week she wasn't fully engaged but the midwife didn't seem to stressed as she said many babies don't engage until in labour and it could just mean i have a larger pelvis.

I have another appt on Wed so they will see how she is then. I have been bouncing on my fit ball and walking up and down the stairs in the hope that it may force her down a bit further.

Don't worry i will definitely update you when things start happening!!

Hope you are well and looking after those beautiful baby bumps!

    Hello,

    Just a quickie.

You sound like me Thee. I was going to go for a long walk today. Its still nice outside so I suppose I can. After reading about Neen's huge walk and then her having Aston today I am willing to try anything.

    How is everyone else going??

Can't believe my journey is almost over...

Hey everyone great to hear everyone is doing well. 24 weeks today!

Yesterday I too went to the target sale and bought my first little outfits for our little man. So cute I thought I would die. Hanging out for work to end too but unfortunately I have 2 and a half months left ha ha. Sometimes I still get scared something will go wrong with the baby, does anyone else have that! When I do I just try and keep myself in the moment.

Hey girls, good to see some action on this thread again.

Shadow sorry I missed you in your first post. You are having a hard time with your MIL, no wonder you are feeling a bit overwhelmed sometimes. Your post about impregnating your partner made me laugh! I hope that when you eventually have to see MIL it goes smoothly. She can't take your child off you! I don't really understand why she would want to? Is she on a power trip or something? Anyway hope it all goes okay for you.

Thee & Fireflies - the countdown is on!!! So exciting I can't wait to hear when things start happening for you girls! Hop the walking kicks things off

Izy - thanks for the fresh new thread!

Lucky - the best thing you can do is stay in the moment and try move through the stressful times when they happen.

Okay then I have to work late today because the carpets got done this morning. So my house is fresh and clean and completely upside down because everything has been moved onto the tiles! It will take a while to put back together.

Work still stressful with various different people in here clashing and arguing with each other. Few too many egos in here!!! Men! I am trying to stay out of it as best I can, I don't need the added stress in my life especially not at the moment. My DH is getting cross because he knows it affects me and he doesn't want me to stress over stuff that is out of my control. I am meant to be slowing down and relaxing not worrying about everyone else that I work with! Oh well... not long to go now.

Right then ladies off I go. Have a great afternoon.

    Em

I'll get the questions out the way first off..

    Sniper - due date??

    Melameen - boy or girl??

    Luckyme - boy or girl??

And anyone else I dont have the details for on first post can you please let me know.

Superstarr - WOW almost 30 weeks. That seems to have gone quick. How much longer do you have left at work?? YAY on the nursery almost being complete. Soon you will be like me & waiting on the most important part.... The baby!!!

Melameen - Don't let work stress you out. I gave up on trying to fix things & help everyone out. It was to stressful for me. In the end I was more relaxed once I sort of gvae up. Take it easy when you get home & putting the furniture back. The last thing you want to do is over do it now.

Shadowangel - on the awful dreams. I think we all have experienced them one time or another. Even now I am ready to give birth I still have thoughts something is going to go wrong. Apart from the dreams how is everything going??

Luckyme - YAY 24weeks, only 16 more weeks to go. Bet it seems to be just flying by now?? How is everything going?? How nice to have some cute outfits for your little man. I am avoiding Target cause I don't need to buy anything else. I have probably way to much already.

Sniper - How are you?? Hope your DD & DH are over the cold they came down with. I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes by quick like the first half. Soon you will be ready to pop and will be holding your little baby.

Thee - Not long for you!! 3 more days till you EDD. How are you feeling?? Do you think you will come on time or go over?

AFM - I have had the worst week just gone. I have had maybe 12-15 hours sleep & I have also had (TMI) loose bowel movements for the past week. I am going at least 4-5times a day & night, usually more. I see my OB again tomorrow and I am not leaving there till we either have a date to induce me or book me in for a c-section. I am mentally, emotionally and physically over this and can't take much more. My back pain got better and now is worse again... My ribs are so sore from being poked and kicked. I will be 38 weeks on Friday, so anytime I could go into labour naturally but I honestly don't think I will. Worst part is we still haven't decided on a name for our little guy...
