Don't worry I did the same a few weeks ago and I rang my obstetrician worried that I did the wrong thing. But he said Betadine is fine! So it's ok.

Fingers crossed for your scan tomorrow. I hope you can do something relaxing today to get you through the wait!

Welcome to all the newbies who've joined. I Hope that your bubbas are well behaved, sticky and u all have a healthy, uneventful pregnancy ahead of u.

Stephs mum - good luck at ur scan, fingers crossed all goes well. Sorry ur not feeling well... Is there something else natural u might be able to do? Warm water with honey and lemon? (Ive heard of that not sure if it works or what its actually used for though...but i figure its natural should be fine in pregnancy)

Super - OMG!! Last day of work! YAY!!! Dont forget to rest before bubs comes!

Thee and fire - hope ur lil bubbas are doing well.

AFM - BUSY at work. Finally had a dentist checkup today - first in over 10yrs, probably since primary school if i remember correctly. Alls good. Dentist was amazed. haha. Think bubs is doing well No signs to say things arent progressing. Still no bump though!! Kinda bummed out... I Tell ppl im 18-19wks and they look at me like its some kind of practical joke. Still not feeling much movement either, and the ones i have felt im wondering if they were now something else?? lol, but i know theres still a few weeks till i should worry. Im not even sure where my placenta is, so it could be a month or more away yet if its at the front....noone has told me. Oh well LESS Than 2weeks now till morph scan - yay!!

Shadowangel I felt kicks and movements occasionally at 18-19 weeks but it wasn't till may 22weeks I felt them all the time and stronger.
My partner didn't feel them till 24weeks.
My placenta was low lying and at the back. If yours is at the front it can make it harder to feel the kicks.

Its a blob! Heartbeat 161bpm, such a relief to see something on screen! Put me at 7w6d which i figured is about right as I ovulated a day or 2 late when we conceived (i feel when I ovulate, arent I lucky?). Will go have my bloods on monday, havent done them yet as I hate needles and didnt want to have them unnecessarily lol. Then off to Dr next week to see whats next!

I have made a booking to see my ob next weeks so they said they will do a quick scan to check on bubs but I am fully expecting that it may be too early. I will be just over 6 weeks and I have never had a scan that early.

Congrats Thee and Fireflies on the arrival of your babies.

She had a chromosomal problem (t 18). My 12 weeks scan/bloods came back at high risk and when we went for the amnio she had already passed away. It was a shock as for some reason I convinced myself she would be ok and then to find no heartbeat was just devastating. Telling my DS was the hardest as he was so excited. So this time I am going to hold off as long as possible before I tell anyone so he doesn't know anything in case this one doesn't make it.

Lealove think I remember you from the waiting ttc thread as well. Congrats hope this bub is nice and sticky for you. You certainly deserve it after everything that has happend for you this year.

    to everyone else.
It breaks my heart to hear of the late loss's. I know how hard it was for me when I lost mine early
One girl has just lost hers at 22 weeks, prem labour I cried when I read the post. So heartbreaking.
I wanted to enjoy my last pregnancy but now I just can't wait till we are full term & our bubba is safe in our arms

Grinny Try not to worry what happend to me is unusual. I certainly would hate to stress you about it as it is so unlikely that it will happen to you. I am sure your baby is just fine and nice and sticky.

Stephsmum congrats that is fantastic news it must be a huge relief.

Shadowangel I am sure you will feel kicks soon. With my second my placenta was at the front and I didn't feel much so it definately makes a difference. I always found a cold drink made myn squirm around but the first time it is hard to know if it is indeed the baby you are feeling.

AFM well I am bleeding. It's not heavy but kind of painful lots of cramping so I guess I have to wait and see what happens. Started yesterday arvo and still going.

    Have a nice weekend everyone.
