    Default HCG Levels

    Hi Glen,

Thanks for reading my question. I have been fortunate enough to fall pregnant on our 1st FET transfer (natural).

As you can see from my signature, I have a healthy just turned 3 yo and have had 2 miscarriages since. I am currently 6 wks + 1 day today.

I have had my HCG readings and they are as following

    14DPO - 207
    17DPO - 622 (doubling - 45 hrs - 1.9 days)
    21DPO - 3,200 (doubling - 40 hrs - 1.7 days)
    25DPO - 9,200 (doubling - 63 hrs - 2.6 days)

With the last reading, we were hoping for 12,000. The FN said the Dr is not concerned at this point, but in your opinion have you heard / seen that pregnancies can still go on? Would you class this a a considerable drop? I had 2 embryos put back.

I am booked for a scan and bloods for later next week.

One more question: if it does come back with no heatbeat, that will make 3 consecutive m/c's. Would you suggest we do PGD testing if this is the case?

    Eagerly awaiting your response.

    Thank you so much

All sounds fine. you need to switch to vaginal scans rather than bloods at this stage. If you were to miscarry again PGD isn't the answer and I will explain why when you have had your next three children and catch me up!
    Congratulations
