Re warranty pertaining to Baby Jogger specifically a girl I know looked into it & was told by the Australian office that any warranties for purchases from the US would only be honoured in the US. And same for Australia in Australia.

This was just what a couple of us had found after doing investigations so if it's something that you may be concerned about it'd be worth checking it out for the country you got it from.

I just ordered a BJ elite from US too - cost $110US for postage (plus $399US for the pram). Saved us hundreds of dollars. I was concerned about the warranty but for the price savings, decided to risk it. Mine was shipped yesterday and due in Perth on the 12th.

I bought a BJ city mini double in new condition for $400 on gumtree. Gumtree is excellent, not often thought of and completely free. E-go are a cheap courier if buying from interstate.

riss is correct as far as I am aware also... and the reason why we decided to buy our BJCS here and not from America (although was very tempting, but exchange rates weren't as good as they are right now so the difference was only $200-$300 and IMO was not worth it JIC)

If you have a look at the 'Baby Jogger Australia' facebook page the question has been asked many times, this is one such reply - "If you buy it in USA the warranty is only valid in USA. If you have a problem with your stroller you will need to pay for the frieght (both ways) which is around $300-400 and you will be without your stroller for up to 6-8 weeks"

I think the confusion comes from the warranty registration card which you do register with Baby Jogger in the USA either by post or online, but if there is an issues then it has to be returned to the country/place of purchase as on the sales receipt.
From Baby Jogger Australia - "Yes you either post it to USA or you can just email them internationalsales@babyjogger.com"
Please remember that if you do need to make a warranty claim you will still need to provide proof of purchase."

I can't get over the price of prams here!!! I want one of those travel systems with the car seat and pram together...it's like $900.00 here. The same thing in the states is $135.00. Actually, all baby stuff in the states is about 3 times cheaper
