Default wonder week / developmental stage?

my 20 week old babe has been so screamy and whingy this last week it is driving me bonkers!

he doesnt appear sick or teething or anything

today we had 3 screaming sessions...real full on ear piercing inconsolable screams

for the last week he is just not happy for any lenght of time, particularly when playing on the floor by himself

i feel he is a quite a `serious' baby but this is going beyond that

is this something that babies go through, i got my email this week saying it was a wonder week...could this explain some of it?

DD is 20weeks on Thurs and is having 'moments' but she IS teething so that's what I've been blaming.
maybe it IS a wonderweek - so exciting!

my dd is now nearly 7 months, but week 19 was by far our worst week (and she was a colicky refluxy bub!) BUT once she got over it - about half way thru week 20 she was a new baby, a few mums in my mothers group had a shocking wonderweek 19, but all agreed that the baby that followed was a delight. It will pass! Even if those inconsolable screams for no apparent reason seem like it wont.
