Hi katt - how is little man??

Sounds like you are annoyed with tests etc. Weight loss is not ever easy. I was being a HUGE bludger and did not go to the gym for a few months and now I am finding it harder to get firm again. I eat the right things and all but it can get diffcult the older you get. I never believed anyone when they said it would get harder as I got older and now I see. Keep on going girl. I am sure you are on the right track.

I have been MIA as I gave up on the whole IVF saga. I have been thinking about it alot again lately. I kinda do not wanna go down the IVF path though. I do not know that I can handle it all again.I do not accept that I will be childless yet I do not wanna do IVF again. I am confused. Something will become clear if I really stop and think it through properly.

You keep on trying my love and I just know you will get where you wanna be. How old is Little Kev now??

I am so glad you responded today as it's nce to talk to some old BH pals!!

    Hi Jamison & Katt

Jamison -I beleive you will get your little miracle have you tryed iui? i did ivf and they gave me less than a 5% chance of ever getting pregnant so had my tubes done and we did clomid for what felt like for ever so gave up it was just to heart breaking after giving up thats when i feel pregnant with maddy so never give up as a miracle will happen when you least expect it

Katt- Little Kev must be big now and 2 Maddy was 2 last april where does the time go Maddy is toliet /potty trained now and just so full on weight loss what is that lol my weight must like where it is as i try so hard and never loss it most of it i put on while pregnant and i agree with Jamison the older you get the harder it is to loss but i am sure you will get there so little Kev will get his play mate

afm-well as i said maddy is 2 the light of my life she proves miracles can come true i stopped breast feeding her so we could try to give her a play mate and tryed for just over 12 mths with no luck so once again we gave up in jan i said i was happy i got my miracle gave away all my baby things had a good clean out .......... and now i have just found out i am all most 8 weeks pregnant hubby is over the moon so all will go well shhh not telling anyone yet lol hubby said after 12 weeks we might

    take care

    Hi ladies how are you?

Jamison, little kevin is getting bigger and so into mischief its not funny his starting to go through that horrible stage of saying no and everything else and he has also moved up a group in daycare his now in the prekindy group it seems like his is getting bigger quicker and quicker and I remember when he was a baby it just goes so fast and my eldest dd is 14 this week time goes so fast but at the moment she is undecided on weather she wants a ghd hair straightener or clothes from some online site.

you have had that many rounds of ivf and been through so much I don't blame you for not going back again, im even doubting if i will even get to go back again unless i get this weight off and yes I am over the tests especially with veins that collapsed over 10 yrs ago and have never healed it doesnt leave much options to get blood out of veins.

Berniee, thats fantastic news that your expecting again you and dh must be so excited. Unfortunately the ivf clinics have weight limits and apparently westmead is going to lower theres whch eans more weight i will need to lose in order to do the ivf but everything is in doubt at the moment depending on the weight.

well i better go kids are running amuck

take care ladies hope to hear from you soon

Default Advice & Chat on IVF or Tubal ligation reversal #7

    Hi all,

After an 18 month break during which we got married we are now ready to go thru tubal reversal.

We tried ivf with no luck. Are we nuts for changing from ivf? To be honest all along I was more comfortable and had more faith in a reversal but at the time ivf seemed more convenient ( crazy I know )

If anyone has any advice, good stories please share.

    Many thanks

    Hi everyone
I'm 25 and had my tubes tied in 2010 after two children (2006) and (2008)thinking that I would never get divorced and my ex husband was a lot older than me.
I have not found the man of my dreams and he has no children.
I really want to get my tubes untied .... I have no private health....
has anybody found a reasonable priced surgeon?

I think in some states it can be done as public patient on waiting list.

I think with no phi it's close to 10k but with our phi I paid 4200k of which I got back about 1200

Default Advice & Chat on IVF or Tubal ligation reversal #7

I had my surgery in nsw just a few weeks ago.

Haven't started ttc yet but I'll update when successful. We had tried ivf first with no success.

It's very nerve wracking but it's the best decision I made
