    Default Heavy Periods Maybe TMI

    Hi Girls

But I have had 3 periods since DD and they have been super heavy, Im literally changing pads every hour or so...

I wouldn't say normal no. Go see your Doc, just to make sure all is ok in there!! I had retained placenta.. though I bled for 12 weeks straight after Ella was born which is why we discovered it. If it has been stopping & starting it may not be that. But get checked out to be sure.

I hope it slows down soon.

Mandy dear - Definately go to the Dr. I've had 2 since Oliver was born and they have been super LIGHT....(I'm normally really heavy)....so I would say its not normal!

It does pay to get it checked, just in case there is something not quiet right in there!!

I have no idea if there's something wrong or not...

But I have found that since having DD, my period has been much heavier than it used to be. That said, it could be because I'm 20kg heavier than I was before...(I have heard that heavier women tend to have heavier periods). I don't even waste my time with tampons...I just use super pads all the time.

DD is almost 13 months, and in all that time, I haven't had a problem (only breastfed for 9 weeks, so my period came back not too long after I had her).

Still, if you're worried, ask the doctor!
I've now lost 36kg thanks to the gastric sleeve!
