Default what do i do with my embryos

    Hi

Seeking advice from others. I have about 25 frozen embryos stored. I have completed my family and dont want them. Not comfortable with donating to another couple. Does anyone know of any research projects that could use them to assist in helping others with conception? Want to help others..... dont want to waste them.....

    Default excess frozen embryos

    Hi dontgothere.

I would contact Sydney IVF , the large IVF clinic that runs out of north shore Sydney. They do a very large amount of research and would probably have the best idea of any research projects that currently are licensed to use frozen embryos. Hope it all goes well.

Default a little more info for embyro donation

Thanks so much for your info

I am bris based. embyros stored at QFG. They have only given me one possible research project that want my donation... but would like more options. Do I need to stay Bris/QFG based since that is where they are stored?

    Hi
There are plenty of other options for your embryos. There are a lot of projects being run at research facilities around the country. IVF A in Sydney and Monash in Melbourne are some of the big researchers. Dont forget those that have struggled and would forever be grateful of your donation. Perhaps disposal and research are you only options Dr Glenn Sterling
