    Mitake,
The reason I had my AMH tested was because ::
My husband works away a lot & was hardly ever home at the right time of the month so my gp suggested we go to a fertility clinic so we could maybe try artificial insemination. So we decided to give it a try & they do all the usual blood tests which included an AMH test. So after almost a year of failed IVF & IUI I finally got my miracle.
I am only 5 weeks today so still a looooooong way to go!
I wish you all the luck in ttc, but if you are concerned maybe just have a chat to your gp.

    bub2be,
congrats!! I'm so excited for you & I also know how scared you are. I will keep my fingers crossed for your baby as well as mine. I hope all goes well for you. How far are you?

Thank you. I'll know in 2 weeks for this month

Do you have a choice with hospital? I know I don't here but I'm in the country. Where you are is it zoned? I hope you can get into a hospital that will support you along the way.

I look forward to hearing about your journies girls

    bub2be,
I had my first son at Nambour because I lived up the sunshine coast. I did share care with my gp as she is fabulous. She used to be an ob but changed when she had her own family (better hours)

I now live in Deception Bay & I am going to use my same gp from up the coast to do share care. I want to go to the Mater but not sure if i'm outside of the area??
I did share care with my angel with a local gp & had him at Redcliffe. I have not been back to that gp ever since, (she was hopeless) I now can see all the signs. Anyway, I won't go back to redcliffe either.

My gp has said she will have extra appointments & scans done for me to ease my mind a bit.

So are you due around the 18th/19th March? My birthday is the 19th March & my first DS is 29th March! March is going to be a very busy month in our house!

I'm due 11th March but due to previous complications & c section I will be booked in for a c section approx a week early

I'm sorry you had a bad experience with the previous hospital, was it The Royal? Are you going to the Mater this time?

Yes it certainly was the Royal..

Mitake - Yes you do have some say, you can apply for which ever hospital and depending on your situation / zone its up to their discresion if they accept you..

I have been chatting to the middies from the Mater ... really hoping i can get in there as they have a really good programme for pregnancy after loss, and susequent pregnancy councilling and other things.. They told me theres a good chance of getting in as long as you get an early referal and possibly a referal to their maternal fetal medicine unit for the first scan. Also putting down you have a previous loss so that your file is referered to the bereavement midwife team..

The DR at the royal said they would look at a C/S at 37 weeks if i go back there..

Officially Redcliffe is my closest but Im a little bit put off them as they arent very big and dont have the same programmes in place..

PA- Oh Hun I hope both you and Mitake can join us soon... we can have a rainbow baby convention Hope your having a nice time away too!

The programme sounds great Jade, I think great support will be half the battle in overcoming our fears.
