Good luck MilkOnTap, I hope you see a happy little baby swimming around inside you -- please let us know how it went.

LeeLee, how are you going? I hope you're feeling some changes. Have you got everything organised? What an exciting time for you!! Wishing you all the best for the next week

Scan went great - I'm measuring 9w5d and bub had a good strong heartbeat. Looks like we're still having a baby!!! Still trying to get my head around it lol.

Also it looks like we might be moving house. Again. We moved into this house last Friday and right up until we moved in I DIDNT want to take the house. But we kind of had no choice - I COULD have stood my ground and not taken it though, but somehow hubby convinced me that it would be a good idea. Stupid stupid stupid me. I hate it. And I have no friends here. I want to move out west to where my friends all live - especially since I'm pregnant, and expecting a new little bundle - support is SO important right now. I'm so worried about feeling isolated here. Plus i just dont think i can birth here. Its just not great. I mean - its ok and definitely livable, but I dont know if I'll be able to 'release' enough to let go, groan and moan and just get into my zone.

Really not sure what to do. If we move again I want to do it before bub arrives - far easier with 2 children than 3 - right? It would make sense to do it in my 2nd trimester (as I'll have more energy). Anyway - have to start looking at our options (and convince hubby that we have to do it *sigh*)

Wish we could move house. Hate this place, don't really want to birth here and have a newborn here. But we are stuck til we pay off the van.
I moved 2x in my last preg, much easier than with a tiny I reckon.

Good to hear Milkontap - very reassuring.

Still waiting ScaryMary... due date was yesterday and apart from some very mild period pain type cramping over the last couple of weeks, no major signs yet. I have been feeling a lot more pelvic pressure since last Thursday though, so maybe she's engaging. My prediction is the 1st March but I would be quite happy to be proved wrong and have her appear a little earlier.

    to everyone else!!!

    Hi all!

Thought I would pop in and say hi, if that's ok! I'm 16 weeks and planning a homebirth in the south east of Melbourne. Met my independant midwife last week and she was fantastic! Really knowledgable and totally lovely - I was at her house for 2 1/2 hours!!

I fractured my pelvis 8 years ago so the hospital is getting my medical records from NZ... but I'm determined to have the birth I want, baring any huge medical complication!

With Karen, Helen as secondary, I'll meet her at the birth planning. I felt in very good hands :-)

I did send you a PM, but the PMs on this site seem to be a bit unreliable....

I'm in Mount Waverley. I would really love to come to the coffee morning but my temp job will be ending soon and I don't want to jeorpardise it by taking too much time off! Plus, all the money we can get is good at the moment, I'd have to take a whole day off to come out to Upwey or wherever it is.
