Default Single Bed - where to buy

We are going to buy DS his big boy bed soon, and I am at a loss of where to find one.

Because we live in a small house, I really want something with drawers underneath. When I was a kid I had one of those pipe beds, with drawers, which would be perfect! But do you think I can find anything like it?! Of course not!!

I have been to Fantastic Furniture and Amart, plus looked online (inc ebay and gumtree), and cant find anything with drawers that doesnt cost a small fortune.

Any ideas where I can find something like this?? Im in Perth

I've seen the beds with drawers underneath at Harvey Norman, not sure on price but worth a look I guess. They are not pipeline ones though.

Would love to know how you go as I will be shopping for something similar pretty soon.

Its so hard! I would have thought there would just be a basic model readily available. I'll have a look at HNs next time we're near one. Thanks

Do you have an Ikea near you? They have great single beds and some have drawers.

I got both my girls ones from Furniture Spot, DD2 isn't in hers yet but I purchased the same one for her as DD1's because they share a room.

I love the one they have it's the Alpine Federation, got matching chest of draws and beside table and there's matching bookshelf i'd like to get eventually, very reasonable too. I'm also in Perth Try Ikea too
