Little bit sad, little bit relieved

As the title states ... After 20mths, my DD is on day 2 of no boobies.
I am a little bit sad, little bit relieved and also very proud of myself.
Once again (same thing happened with DS) I have a 6 or so month break before the next bub comes and we start all over.
I will miss the feeds but now perhaps I can go out without having to put her to bed first .

Congratulations on feeding her this long, it is really amazing to see women doing this

Now lets hope my relactation all goes to plan and I can feed bub for as long as you (more if she wants lol)

I remember that feeling. My ds was stubborn at being weaned and I really wanted to replace some feeds with formula, then all of a sudden he decided he liked formula & completely weaned in 48 hours. I was in shock for weeks. I was so relieved that I was no longer 'needed', but yet I wanted to be needed. It's a weird contradiction isn't it? But deep down we know it's a good thing and that our babies are growing up
