product recommendations - hypnobirth

Hi

A UK friend has highly recommended hypnobirth and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations:
- practitioners in perth WA
- books/cds

I am particularly interested in a CD that I might listen to on my way to and frm work or in bed.

Look up Emma Stewart in WA. She's got a website: http://www.blissfulbirth.com.au . She's a Perth based Hypnobirth practitioner who comes highly recommended.

The book I'm using is "Hypnobirthing - The Mongan Method" by Marie F Mongan. It comes with a CD, and when I signed up with Emma I got another CD linked to that book as well.

Hi there,

I'm listening to a CD called 'natal hypnosis', which I bought through www.soulbirth.com.au

It is very relaxing and I am enjoying the visualisations.

You wouldn't be able to listen to it in the car if you're driving.

There are 4 CDs in the pack - pregnancy relaxation, birth preparation, the birth CD (just the music, minus the talking) and post-natal relaxation.

While I haven't yet given birth using it, I can highly recommend it so far...

Hi I am currently 38 weeks pregnant and have been completing the hypnobabies home course, you can buy it off the website hypnobabies.com.

Its a five weeks course including CD's and reading material. The thing I like about this course is that it teaches you eyes open hypnosis allowing you to remain mobile through your birthing time, and able to communicate.
