Bone Scan

Hi,

I have to have a bone scan on my feet and was told to not b/feed DD for 2 days. That should be ok as she has a bottle for her 11am feed.
They also suggested I don't give her extended cuddles, longer than 1/2 hour, as I am still radioactive.
Has anyone else had to have one of these while b/feeding?

Yep I did. I was told 24 hours (and that was not touch your baby at all). Make sure you drink LOTS of water because the more urine you pass the quicker you will not be radio active.

How did you go about that? There is only my hubby and I at home. No family around.

How old was your bub?

Thanks for the water advice. I drink a lot normally, but I will drink more.

It was manageable. My husband had to have the day off and look after our son completely though.

Make sure you have enough expressed milk.
