    Default Felt....

I wanted to make DS some face features (eyes, lips, noses ets) so we could stick them onto some sort of board and make funny faces.....from memory when i was little we used to do this with felt material.....somehow

Does anyone else remember this or have some suggestions on the best way for a backing board and what to use to stick onto it?????

I actually saw some of these the other day - I only wish I could remember where

Isn't the backing board made out of some type of felt as well?

    Sorry, I'm not much help...

you can make your own big one up by using ply and felt to cover the ply plus extra felt to cut out objects etc,or just go to spotlight and buy a small felt board pack with it all in

Oooh, I remember felt boards! I loved mine when I was little. Thanks for the idea, I'm going to make my kids one too.

Yeah a Felt backing board will work, so will many surfaces, even a rug hung over a lounge or something should work. You can even get some stiff foam cut to order to use also.

I have heaps at home from my child care worker days... I used tracing paper to trace out animals from colouring in books to transfer onto the felt, I have some great farm animals. I used textas to add a bit of differing colour onto them.
